stabbed by a dagger? slashed by a sword? mauled with a mace? poked with a polearm? slammed by a shield? chopped by an axe? or fisted by a fist weapon?

I can’t decide, which is best?

Well if those are my ONLY choices, it’s pretty obvious to go with “slashed by a sword” since that’s going to be the least painful. Sure I’ll be missing some limbs, or perhaps I’ll be cut in half… but still.

If I get mauled where will it be? Because I suspect if its the head I either might not be conscious for long enough to feel pain, or otherwise receive enough damage to my brain as to not be able to register it as well.

The location is just as, if not more, important than the method.
