I think MoP was the best expansion, world PvP, mobility, raiding, story, cutscenes, legendary quest, everything about it was top tier.

Yes. Simply because Pandaren are a thing.
Outside of this MoP was quite possibly one of the best ‘post wrath’ expacs that activsion had their hands in during the actual bulk of development.

I’d play Cata and stop there. Mists was okay, but not something I’d look forward to. Cata was much better to me.

I would say cata raiding was excellent until Dragon Soul and tol barad was really fun, ganking was excellent back then, Nothing else was memorable to me and I know a lot of people really hated cata for the systems they introduced.

Cata didn’t introduce systems. Just glyphs. We still had the old talent trees. So I don’t know what people are misremembering anymore. lol

Nah I wouldn’t. I loved MoP, it’s I’d say my favorite expansion. But I’m not really interested in going back to any of them. I’d rather stay here and move on to new things.

It does annoy me that people focus on that, when it wasn’t even introduced until DS. It’s like everyone forgot about the rest of Cata before that.

The absolute latest I would play is Cata. You could fly everywhere as soon as the expansion launched. It was only 5 levels. Dungeons were fun. Firelands was great. Molten Front dailies. You could fly everywhere as soon as the expansion launched.
No interest in MoP even though the systems were arguably great, I hated the themes.

It’s tempting.
But something about playing it when it was current back then would of felt better for me. I find these ‘classic’ iterations have no meaningful staying power for me to invest all that time into.

No, I don’t think I would.
Mechanically I think it is far superior to all expansions that came out afterwards…
But I’ve already been there, done that, got the transmog and punched an Orc in the face (to my regret, those tusks hurt). I already leveled my main, and 4 other alts through MoP content when it was current and I don’t want to re-do that a sixth time.
The dungeons were pretty fun, but I can re-visit those on timewalking weeks.

I would just play it to slaughter Pandaren. It’s almost as fun as slaughtering Gnomes.
