I’m sure this has been discussed before, but anyway, I’d like to hear some opinions. I would definetly play one. There are plenty models in-game and some of them has interesting gear. Plus, they are snapturtles…have you ever seen them on video actually snapping their prey? That’s brutal. Surely that could be a racial or something. The only problem is I don’t see their theme fitting into many classes except protection warriors.
I personally wouldn’t play a Tortollan, but I would welcome them into the Horde.

I personally wouldn’t. I’m not even really into the NPCs very much.
Could use a seagull race though. Let’s see who makes it to the water now!

I would totally 100% play one. And I’d set all of Nola’s voice lines to assorted macros.
It would be great fun for me. Just not for anyone who hates the turtles.

I wouldn’t play a Tortollan. I’m not sure I’d even try one. But, more power to those who would play them, and would try them. So long as one person can play the race and enjoy themselves, that’s enough for me.

Honestly I’m just really tired of seeing these cool new races joining up on one faction or another and all of a sudden turning into slaughter-hungry war freaks.
Actually I’m kinda tired of it in the existing factions too. Like seeing Draenei teaming up with warlocks to blast innocent Vulpera literally right off the back of Legion, where we fought against eredar who had teamed up with demons to destroy innocent worlds.

Nope and I hope that won’t become an option because I don’t really want to have a bunch of them around. Those NPCs have always been a source of annoyance to me throughout BfA.

Yes. My alchemist has the tools of the trade and when he gets that transform potion. I get to be a Tortollan sometimes and they are awesome. I just always liked them. Apart from the beachhead and calligraphy quests.
I would quit WoW. No regrets. Ok I probably wouldn’t quit but I would never play a tortollan. If they were a race for the horde you’ll see me changing factions again. That’s how much I hate those creatures.

I have some racial ideas: hiding in their shell or walking at 25% speed.
Now, if we were talking about Kalu’ak or Murloc, I’d play the crap out of them.
