Where you pick a character which represents one spec, so about 36 characters. And you still select talents, and mix and match gear/stats (haste,crit,master, verse), and hell even covenant conduits still.
I sure as hell would, too bad this game is gatekept at 2100CR and only 0.01% of the subscribers who pay money to play this game actually get to play this game.
no because part of the fun, to me, of arenas is also gearing or having things outside of arena to do. problem with gearing of course is blizz made it as annoying as possible to do.
all blizz needs to do is lower the barrier of entry to pvp which is insanely high atm compared to previous expansions (basically non existent in legion and before).
You can get 1800 with low gear then upgrade it to 252 and then push 2100 pretty easily and get your 259 set.
I’ve been wanting them to just remove arena from wow and create it’s own game forever. It would make it way more accessible and not tied to the balance of pve just overall significantly improving the game.
We been asking for years to basically have the Tournament realms be a permanent thing.
I mean they could bring back world pvp objectives, add wpvp quests again a lot they could do

With Blizzards balancing? I would lose interest very fast in an only arena game tbh. I enjoy collecting mounts and doing pve stuff when arena becomes too tilting.
def would. the arena tournament realms back in the day were fun, could try all the classes and builds you didn’t have on live servers.
I like being in the WoW world. I think Felryn summed it up nicely. Just fix the stuff that is almost universally agreed upon and common sense.
I would absolutely love it. Kind of like overwatch but for wow arena but have rating per spec not class. Would open up way more game modes for wow pvp to experiment with and balancing would be much easier.
Blizz can still milk us dry of course with mounts and skins and players can still feel some kind of prestige with seasonal elite titles mounts and transmogs. Could even sell awc team skins lol. Man blizz kinda missing out on some cash money here damn.
This is very true but it would require OP to understand that competition =/= everyone wins and accept personal responsibility to get better at the game. that’s not very doompost of you
Arena/BGs are fun but it’s only part of why I play this game. I like raiding, I like M+, I like farming for xmog and old mounts, I like trying to get titles.
WoW IMO is a great game because there’s always something you can be doing. You remove 75% of the game, and I would get pretty bored once I hit a ratings wall for the season.
Hell yea I would. Hopefully someone will one day. Give it a league style launcher where you just pick a character and queue up but I would still want the wow targeting and movement (no click to move)

Might not be what you are talking about but I actually loved those world quests in legion, the pvp ones at Black rook hold, the cave in high mountain…. Not sure if there was another but I actually thought those were fun
I would play the out of it. I hope that one day blizzard gives us this. All I’d ever want. Reminds me of Guild Wars old RA feature, but tie it to MMR.
yeah the bear riding and the murloc one was the 2 others.
And going to the opposite factions pvp tower always netted you some fights
LOL yeah the bear fighting one but you could get on the flying mount too that was so funny
and cast while moving on it too, was fun going out there on my mage
Lower item-level PvP gear will now scale to a higher item-level in PvP situations than before. This should reduce the power level gap so that new characters can feel that they’re able to compete in Battlegrounds and Arenas more readily. This change will not affect high item-level PvP gear.
Here, you put less effort now and get same scaling as someone who did put effort. No reason to cry no more about PVP not being fair.
Now also complain that someone needs to train your hands so you become better at the game.
