Just as title says. Single or multi-player. Create your own character, explore a massive open world, tons of areas to explore and so much more. Think Warcraft meets Skyrim.

sure why not. But dont make the sole hero of the entire world, the world saver/breaker etc. Just make me a soldier.

I… Guess? Isometric would be better, but an attempt at a real RPG would be fine.
Thou it would obviously need to have story, choices, meaningful dialogue and consequences, which means entirely unlike Skyrim. Which is fine if you only want a pre-marked exploration/murder simulator.

I’d prefer something more along the lines of Morrowind or Oblivion than Skyrim. But just an open world RPG set in the Warcraft universe could be interesting. Always seemed like one of the mind boggling things about Blizz. They’re sitting on these IPs and do jack all with them it seems like. Warcraft is begging for a single player RPG experience. Starcraft would do well with a FPS, and I know they tried with Ghost but still.
I mean, I played a card game set in the Warcraft universe. So, for sure.
Isnt that what World of Warcraft was supposed to be?

They had another more recent one that failed in pre-production too. Blizzard seems to be really bad at actually finishing projects.
OT: yeah I’d absolutely play a more classic single-player RPG set in Warcraft.

I would LOVE an Elder Scrolls style Warcraft game with open world exploration and such. I think it would be pretty fun

Not to derail the thread, but I used to raid with a healer who would CONSTANTLY die due to getting caught in mechanics like void zones / breath attacks, etc.
One night myself and the other officers decide to talk with him and basically ask him what is going on with the constant deaths. Turns out his reasoning was “I play in first person so it is really hard to see the stuff on the floor.” As the raid leader, I basically:
Anyways after much convincing, we were able to get him to try raiding in 3rd person and those deaths were reduced. He still fell asleep at the keyboard occasionally but it was something we were able to live with.
