It depends on a lot of things. How far behind I am in terms of gearing and catching up, how much the cost would be, does it look cool for transmog purpose, things like that. If it met those and other criteria, then maybe. If not, I’d just bite my tongue and go back to the grind.

It would be the definition of ‘pay to win’, exactly. The game would finally have hit bottom, and as most have predicted, it would be Blizzard that killed WoW.

At this point, WoW’s loot model is more predatory and punishing than most gachas. I’d save time (and time is money, friend) being able to drop a couble of bucks in loot roulette or buying the item outright.
It’d curb the boosting community too as Blizz could undercut them in cost and guarantee.
Paying money for champ gear?

Yes but not with $$$. I would pay it with Gold. I would work double time on my profession to sell stuffs to be able to purchase the BiS item.

you’re paying money already for the chance at BiS items. why not take the chance out of it. again, this would be a 1 day only thing.

If you could buy gear, literally p2w in a game with a sub i would probably quit. It’s not the first time anyway.

How is it different from buying WoW tokens, then buying gear from the AH, or from carries? Just cut the middle man.
