Would you like to see our mysticism finally explored?

We have gone through a lot of changes from using mana to using focus (which frankly could still be mystic to an extent). This would suggest that we are less magical than say a druid and brings us back towards plain reality. Our deep association with beasts and ability to heal them keeps us firmly within the sphere of life in WoW cosmo/astrology, yet the ability to cast arcane pulls us towards the sphere of Order also. We kind of are close to the emerald dream but as onlookers vs druids. I think our association with the wild gods could be fleshed out a bit more to more firmly plant us somewhere on the cosmo map. This also opens up potentially the opposite of the (our) spectrum that exists in WC III which is the dark ranger but that could be some distant content. Is this interesting to anyone?

That sounds pretty cool, actually. I’ve always RP’d there is nothing mystical about this character, or hunters in general. I always figured most of what we have in game to just be “game mechanics”. To get an explanation into how we are able to do various things would be nice because we really don’t have one that I know of. I’ve always treated hunters as pretty much a D&D ranger class.

It’s highly amusing to watch the old show Dragnet and see them be so critical of pot usage and know it’s legal in California now. I’m curious what Jack Webb’s character, Joe Friday, would think.
