Would you live in Zangarmarsh?

Didn’t watch the video but knowing how many shrooms are in Zangarmarsh I’d at least visit often

If I could live in the mushroom and had a mana ray as my mount, absolutely.

Edit: in the top of the mushroom not the bottom.

Have you seen the size of the bugs there. :grimacing:

Yes, Original Zangarmarsh is one of my favorite places in the game. As well as the background music there. Thank you for posting that vid, its awesome, and my fav music in the game.

I dunno if I’d live there full time but I’d probably make regular visits. It’s one of my favorite Outland zones, just so nice and chill relative to just about any other zone added by an expansion.

No thanks. The Draenei didn’t seem to have a good time living there after being driven from their temple.

HELL NO.

I have a phobia with flying insects with stingers.

… and one of the Night Elves got stinged once in that zone and it was very gruesome.

Not to mention, they have wild life that shoots LAZER BEAMS that’s a lot more terrifying than what we did to N’Zoth.

Nope. Too many wasps and other annoying bugs.

Probably not as that place is probably toxic with all those spores. I’m sensitive to even the tiniest mold.

If there was no chance of being turned into some sorta spore monster, and there was a dry and comfortable place to stay, sure. Zangar has always been my favorite zone.

Zangarmarsh is a place that makes me think of The Amazon. Same with Stranglethorn Vale in-game. I would certainly live there! Always liked the jungle for some reason along with swamps!

Only thing that may stop me from going there is the large flying bugs there.

Absolutely not. Pretty zone to be sure, but far too open and swampy.

Plus there is a not so hidden enemy stronghold under the water.

i bet it’s really hard to breathe in Zangarmarsh

plus mushrooms are soooooo gross

(cool zone though)

Nah, my allergies would kill me.

Sure, but I do remember reading the background of the zone and it goes something like, constant hostile creatures and insects, mysts and gases that constantly attack your skin and burn things off you.

I DID live in Zangarmarsh for quite a while about 11 years ago! My main was parked there farming rep to get a pet that I wanted very badly. I played alone back then, knew next to nothing about gaming in general and WoW in particular. But I had fun and I absolutely loved Zangarmarsh - even tho I died quite often. It’s still one of my favorite zones and I think one of the most beautiful Blizz has ever created. It took me what seemed like forever to farm all that rep (I was very slow), but it was worth it because I loved logging into that zone.

No, I’ll be living in Nagrand with my house on one of those floating rocks.

I’ll visit the border of Zangarmarsh to trade with whoever brings anything of actual value out of that zone, but I won’t go in much myself.

ZM is too dark and humid.

Depends.

A normal human being living with giant bugs? This is worse than living in the real life jungle.

Can I fight back with magic enough to be stronger than the bugs? Maybe. There’s always the chance to be outnumbered.

No where. I hate fungus.
