Yea, good ones can pump and lol-ten.
Nope, Enhancement Shaman are completely and utterly incapable of completing a +10. I demand Rogue / DH / Mage for every single one of my keys.
Actually I even had to kick myself once because I’m not a Resto Druid, so it was obvious that the group just wasn’t going to work.

If they’re overgeared and it’s the current state of +10 balancing ? sure
If they’re applying to a +15 or higher and I have literally any other melee DPS spec applying of comparable experience ? no way, declined, go play something useful like elemental since they bring the same utility but are ranged

Every spec is more than capable of doing 10s and much higher. I would invite them if their experience/gear was appropriate.

Anything is fine up to a 10 and past. A good shaman is a fantastic addition. Good AoE stun and 8 second interrupt and can do some great AoE damage
It just depends on the composition of my group. If I’ve got 2 melee already then no. At the gear levels were at the player matters more than the class.
Ele actually brings BETTER utility, as they have the best Earth Ele available.
I must admit I’m not even sure what an enhancement shaman does.
They bring pretty much the same utility as Ele, except a bit worse. No AOE knockdown on Earthquake, Earth Ele can’t be controlled, aside from that it’s pretty much the same.
I don’t think there’s anything unique that Enhance brings over Ele.

It depends on if the Ele shaman is running the Primal Elementalist talent. That allows control over their Earth Ele. The prevailing talent choice on that row is now Ice Fury, but I think that is just for raiding. Even basic Earth Ele, of all shamans, is nice like a treant on a longer cd and duration.

I mean, I have nothing against it, but there’s almost always a better choice in the queue.

With retail WoW going into its death spiral the applicants for M+ keys at 15+ are probably in the ratio of 1 tank to 10-20 healers to 100-200 DPS.
Rest assured that in that key range that as a DPS there will always be someone more geared and/or more experienced than you applying as well.
