Would you guys accept this as a trade?

Just wondering. Blizz comes up to the community with an offer. Master Loot returns for guild groups, but in exchange so does Warforging/Titanforging.

Would you guys agree to that deal?

Instant deal rejection.

There is no deal, compromise, consideration, concept, or contemplation where I would be happy with Master Looter returning.

I don’t care about master loot, whereas I actively dislike titanforging.

Just let me trade items of all ilvls regardless on if its an upgrade or not.

Master Looter will kill any pugs

I edited the OP to say that ML returns for guild groups only.

The idea is that the elites get something and the lower end also get something. Win/win right?

I’m not a fan of war/titanforging, but I despise master looter. So many groups just ninja looted everything.

Thats a big no from me. Not a fan of master loot.

No. WF / TF is terrible. Master looter should just come back for 100% guild groups. Or, make it so trading restrictions are gone in guild groups. One of these two things must happen.

Must they?

They should. Under no circumstance should something so vague as a 5 item level upgrade prevent me from helping my friends I raid with every single week. That is the most ridiculous concept Blizzard has ever vomited out of their pipe involving raid loot.

The “community” you imagine is actually a couple hundred neckbeards complaining in an echo chamber. The masses don’t even know these forums exist.

You either get both or you get none. That is how a compromise works.

Then none it is, because WF / TF is worse than not having master looter. At least without WF / TF, I should be able to trade loot more often and aid my team.

We are entitled to our own opinion, but I completely disagree.

The removal of master looter protects everyone from ever being forced to trade gear.

This is a great thing for the game and cuts down on the huge amount of toxicity present in PUG content.

I don’t agree but I’d be willing to see you guys get master loot back if the lower end also got something out of it.

Pretty much this. Titanforging affects everyone.

Master loot is only good for a small minority of the playerbase.

So if you’re raiding with your brother, or your sister, and you receive an item. It’s a 5 ilvl upgrade for you, and a 30 ilvl upgrade for your brother / sister, you think it’s better that you’re forced to not help them, rather than people simply take individual responsibility and say “No” if they’re asked to trade something they would rather keep?

You’re right. To each their own. But in my mind, the only people clamoring for ML to "protect people from being ‘forced’ to trade loot’ just don’t want personal responsibility. They would rather be incapable of trading loot so the social dynamic of refusing something is lifted from them. You can say “No”. If a guild tries to force you to do something you don’t want to do, you should absolutely leave. That’s how social situations work.

I’d reject the deal if it was put forward.
