So people who want butchers hook transmog in diablo 4, they have to play call or duty Halloween event special
If blizzard does this for WoW: Would you do this?
Imagine doing a cross promotion saying “play Warcraft Rumble for the launch event, get 600 traders tenders!”
“Play our call of duty game, get ghost and Captain price transmog!”
My Hearthstone and HotS pets and mounts say: yes.

Highly unlikely I would play those other games, since I haven’t started a twitch account or amazon prime to link those.
Even if it’s call of duty? Cause the game is $70
I did it for my Hearthsteed, so if I wanted the item, sure… found out that the card game is pretty fun.
I got the hearthsteed, but didn’t know that would happen at the time.
Having said that, nah, if I gotta ‘earn’ a mount/toy/pet outside the game to use it in game its rather useless to me. The fun ones to use are the ones that I had a good time while playing the game to get.
I can’t wait to play Crash Bandicoot 5 for my N.gin hat for WoW. ![:robot: :robot:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/robot.png?v=12)

edit: Straight answer, depends on the reward.
as long as cod is free that week. im not going to spend money to get something in the game. thats just a store option with extra work

I have done so in the past, so yes.
There was a mount that you could get in WOW by playing Hearthstone. They’ve done two Diablo Crossovers as well.
no i would not do a cross-game promotion to get wow transmog
Not unless I was planning on playing the game anyway.
Yeah, sure.
If it’s cool/cute or fun. I wouldn’t have tried hots if it didn’t do the promo and it turned out to be one of my favorite games ever so happy surprises.
For a game I already play, id definitely do it if I wanted the wow reward. No way id buy (or start a f2p) a new game for it though
I broke down and briefly installed WotLK Classic for the mount promotion. I linked my twitch account and have left it running in the background for a few hours a couple of times. So I guess I will sometimes do things for promotions.
Will I install Rumble for the inevitable promotion? We’ll see how I feel.
Would I install Call of Duty for a WoW transmog? No. I think I can say that with some confidence.
As a general rule I’ll jump through said hoops. What I won’t do is pay for another game to do so.
I’ll happily participate to the barest minimal amount necessary to complete the event. Much like the Twitch streaming.
If the game is free and/or I’ve already bought it, then sure, why not. If it’s 70 bucks on something I otherwise have no interest in (hint, call of duty, hint, hint) then eff it I’m going without. At that point the mount or toy is going for 70 bucks. There is nothing in this game including the brutosaur that would make me spend that kind of money.
Especially at the point I’m at now where I’m just patiently waiting for some other game I’m better suited toward to take me away. Just haven’t found it yet. Diablo 4 was an utter dud, btw.

I would try but as someone that never played FPS games I would probably fail.
Not if I had to play the other game. FF14 does it right where it’s specifically an event within their game that’s only used as a promotion, you don’t need to play the other game. I think they have done Monster Hunter and FF15 with Fall Guys in a couple weeks and FF16 sometime after.
Edit: Heh, just saw this after posting. Torgal mount and pup!
Edit 2: I forgot FanFest was going on lol:
