Do you think there is a way we could… I don’t know, duplicate the tree? Take one of its acorns and just plant it somewhere else?
I don’t want to stand in the way of any progressive R&D, but there’s a housing crisis that I think needs our attention more… profit be dammed.
That’s surely not a statement I was expecting to hear from a goblin. But I’m not a very conventional Night Elf either, so we’re even on that.
Duplicating the whole tree might prove more difficult than branch harvesting and cultivation, but it sounds doable. I’m sure we could get some fellow Night Elves behind on that for our magic needs. Imagine if we could have not one, not two, but a whole forest of world trees?!!
Or perhaps, if this fails, we can take Amirdrassil’s seeds and alter the seeds to grow to our liking wherever we please. It would be instant housing for all. One seed and you’re off!

We burned down the last tree and it resulted in five+ years of non-stop screaching on the forums from night elf fans.

I would burn the tree down just because it’s constantly in the way when I’m trying to return to the central encampment from anywhere in ED.
At this point, I would do it so more night elves continue screeching.
Well the intent here isn’t to cause any pain, suffering, or pain and suffering. Night elves need homes. I need a home. We all need a home. We could do some really cool stuff with a lot of lumber (magic lumber at that!)

Hey, we could make tree houses in the new world tree as our housing option. 
Sounds dangerous, you know? Liability costs would be through the roof. Better we just have homes with roofs.

Not sure I would cut it down for player housing, but I am all for cutting it down. It is always in the way when I have to fly somewhere.
