Classic+ is 100% impossible for Activision to properly do. You’re talking about a company that re-released classic for easy, zero risk money and nothing more. Huge bugs still exist, as well as horrible metas like AV ranking, and Activision remains silent about all of these.
TBC will be a slam dunk just like Classic was. Free subs from people who no longer like the abomination that retail has turned into with little to no effort on their end.
I personally can’t wait for TBC. Getting to play arena on classes I haven’t before and actually have fun PvP again, unlike classic where the fun PvP ended the day BGs were released.

Yep I’ll head to TBC as soon as it launches. I like it better, not that I have an issue with Classic.
TBC was the best period in wow for me by far.
There is no classic+. You can make no promises, yet here you are doing it.
Despite the fact that eeryone who wants classic+ thinks they speak for everyone else, there is no agreement about what features and content will be added, and what will be removed.

As long TBC is another game server choice and not a replacement, then yes.
Heck, I would like TBC, Wrath, Cata, MoP, even if we finally agree on features we all want for it; Classic Plus and Warlords: Full game edition, to be server options to pick from, in an addition of Classic and Retail. Not as a replacement.

Flying, Arenas and resilience gear along with guild poaching attunements? Pass.
Maybe I will if it comes to that, and I hope it doesn’t, but maybe Classic will remain Classic as well. However likely it is that there will be Burning Crusade, or not, these are all things that are up in the air still, so quit acting like your opinions are absolutes.
As for saying I’m making a moral stand, me stating that if BC comes out I quit has nothing to do with trying to make a moral stand. I’ll quit because I don’t enjoy BC and because BC and any other expansion defeats the purpose of having Classic.
It was nice to get to play Vanilla for a few months… but it’s re-release was not without a great deal of corruption of the original game.
I would play TBC and never log back to Classic. I would hope they have enough builds to release it in a more “pristine” fashion without all the exploits and timeline rushes.
Besides… everyone knows TBC and Wrath are superior to Classic.
Classic+ isn;t a thing… Classic will naturally roll over into TBC.

Here’s the thing though…why would TBC split the community but Classic+ wouldn’t?
Classic is a museum piece so whatever they give us is going to be separate from Classic.

I think Classic+ is a dream. Blizzard can barely turn out meaningful content for retail. What makes you think they can for Classic and Retail at the same time?
We will get TBC. It’s easiest for them to do and will make most people happy. They may keep a few Classic only servers going and allow people to move their characters to them, but there won’t be any new content for Classic.
IF some of the original devs came back to head the classic team i would support classic+ more than tbc

If they force all realms to TBC with no option to stay on a classic only realm(fresh servers preferable) my sub will end.
TBC was an ok expansion, probably the best of all of them, but it still had changes to the game that I do not care for.

Honestly, I don’t understand how something like OSRS isn’t already being developed for Classic. Jagex provided the blueprint, we just need to get it right.
And yeah, if TBC is released I’ll leave Classic, not because I would like to leave but because I won’t really have a choice.

idk what you mean by meme specs but the traditional ones: spriest, boomkin, ret paladin, feral cat are perfectly viable.
I’d go as far to say the niche specs like: Melee hunter, smite priest, etc… are also viable.
Just skip TBC and bring WoTLK already.

I would continue to casually play classic. TBC IMO was hot garbage and I have zero intention to play that.
Yeah I would be playing both.
Classic until Naxx is on farm. Then TBC.
I’m in no rush.
