I just found out one of my fav toon’s name is also slang for a whale’s …privates.
But it’s far more common as a cute way of saying someone is being dumb?

English is not my first language and this is the first time ever I heard of it…

I think you’ll be fine, just tell people you roleplay as a pirate, whaler, sailor thing.

I guess the only logical thing to do would be to delete the name in question, create a separate thread asking for forgiveness and that the moderators’ show mercy. :mega:

If someone takes dork to mean whale genitals, they’re very much the minority, and the weird one. You’re fine OP.

Most people have the experience of using words innocently when they could mean something dirty, I believe it’s best to focus on the innocent intentions. I don’t judge someone if they didn’t mean a bad thing.

I think you’ll be fine. I had no clue that’s what it means and I doubt anyone else will. If you’ve had this character for a while and no complaints, then I wouldn’t worry. Especially seeing you are on an RP server and no complaints.

I’d estimate half of the words in the English dictionary can be used to refer to a man’s genitals. Never underestimate human ingenuity. As long as you avoid the most obvious words you should be fine.
