If so, how much would you spend?
So tempted to pull the trigger yet at the same time I can’t justify spending millions on a mount that’s still obtainable in-game.

No.
I can’t imagine ever spending that much money on a recolor. There are like 30 other versions of that dragon that are dropped by much more legitimate sources.
I’m fine with the Rajani Warserpent I got in BFA.
If I ever made enough gold to be able to bother on the BMAH, I just might. I really love the wind serpents and that one would go great with a handful of mogs I have. I like having matching mogs/mounts and a whole overall theme for my toons so.
I am still fuzzy on how it works if everyone is bidding gold cap but I look at numbers and my brain melts.
The way that BMAH works is the highest bid wins, but the highest bid you can place is gold cap. If someone gold caps a listing, they’ve won it and just have to wait for it to end.
Right now the sha mount is going for 1 mil. I can see that going up as the end nears closer but I can see myself buying it, then having the mount drop the next time I kill Sha because that’s how this game seems to work.
The most I’d toss towards it is ~100k but that’s partially because I’m saving for another mount that’s no longer obtainable except on the BMAH (Swift Zulian Tiger). If it goes for the same price it did last time I have enough to win it. Of course, I haven’t seen that on there since BfA and knowing my luck the next time its up it’ll go for gold cap if its ever back up.
No.
It’s not visually interesting, it’s just a badge to say “I did it”, I grinded it out.
Or “I’m insanely lucky”.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen that go for less than gold cap on my realm. It’s usually up once every month or two and I’ve always woken up to a gold cap bid on it.
If you got the money why not it’s the same as real life when your rich you buy things cause you can.
I would give 30K max for that noodle, there are many other colors to ride so I’m not too bothered about getting another sea-sickness simulator sky noodle lol.
You know what, the more I think about these perspectives, the more I’m inclined to let it go. The Huolon recolor owns anyways.
For any mounts in-game that are farmable from both world bosses and raids, I won’t pay for them on the BMAH. I like farming raids for my mounts and/or battle pets.
Also, I make some decent gold running my weekly dungeons and raids for mounts too!
Probably wouldn’t even bid on it. I have bid on a couple things in the past but am always outbid. I just gave up trying after a while. I don’t even know where to access the BMAH in Shadowlands.
no because im already at ~2400 attempts including bonus rolls, so…1200 kills. Already bought the plagued proto for 5.6mil and the one from nalak for a few million a couple xpacs ago.
the bmah is a TRAP.
DO NOT encourage.
It’s easily worth gold cap. The thing takes forever to farm.
it’s worth it. 10 mil gold is way easier to get than that mount. pull the trigger.
Nah,
(A) I already have Hulon’s Mount.
(B) I don’t have that much gold.
(C) If I was going to drop Gold Cap on a Mount, it would be the Long Boi.
Which hasn’t shown up on any US realm for a year (well, in two weeks it’ll be a year) and a ticket from about a month ago informed me that there are “no verified bug reports” relating to that very issue. How fun.
It could be up every day and I’d still not have it as I am no where near that much gold.
I don’t know if that’s better or worse than never seeing it; if its going for cap every time it could be up daily and it wouldn’t matter for me.
I’ve thought about going gold cap on Galleon and Sha mounts, but when they were up I didn’t do it.
The idea that it could just drop makes it hard to toss 10m at it.
