Has anyone here heard of the Drow??
No, no one has ever heard of Drow.
we dont need yet another elf race.
We have Night Elves already. They are already one of the most evil races in the game. Elune helped them steal troll land
What Doness said.
Nope. Sounds like a type of mushroom. Where do they grow?
but Drow are the dark elves from Underground - they do not live in the forests, but live like dwarves
Elves can be pretty dark-skinned in this game with white hair.
I think that’s what you’re aiming for, right?
Drow from the Forgotten Realms books?
you can play night elf or nightborne, they both have dark skin options and white hair
Just when we were running out of Eelveelutions, ground elf gets suggested. It’s really going to shake up the game and story.
Also question, can I plant them in the garden then pluck them when their ears sprout?
I’m waiting for someone to chime in with what the obvious problem with Drow is, and then we will see.
Do you want elves with dark skin? I’m right here.
Or are you more into the psuedo sexual evil torture kink of drow society in D&D. if so, go play that.
they did it right.
we don’t? No extra elf race that could have just been a customization option?
You mean there’s a city
deep underground
full of scheming women
who love spiders
and are evil?
Yes, I think WoW has you covered.
You got it!
Guess someone wants to pretend they’re Drizzt
Azeroth didn’t have dark elves living underground. It had dark trolls living underground. These moved out into the light and evolved into Night Elves, learned magic, and conquered the planet, destroyed the planet, split it different factions, and here we are.
Though, I suspect the Harronir will be an offshoot of those ancient Dark Trolls and they evolved a little differently and still live underground.
Dont forget void elves.

They have the look.
They love their magic and their demons.
They have a huge caste difference.
They have/had Grand Magistrix Elisande as their leader.
Their palace is called Nighthold.
They are about as close as you are going to get with actually playing D&D.
