Would people play Nerubians? (Rumors)

Apparently rumors have begun since blizzard apparently gave them some more humanoid appearances and player level customizations.

It likewise could be a far more interesting allied race to play than just reskinned dwarfs which would be a good other option.

I would definitely try it out. It likewise could technically play as a DH and an evoker since they can also have wings to a degree.
Likewise blizzard has said there will be multiple new allied races coming in TWW

What about you? Would you play one of the new Nerubians? The more human line ones don’t look too bad.

I’m sure some people would play them, but overall, “monster” races are pretty unpopular.

I would probably never play one.

Likewise thinking on it I feel the druid forms could be bug and spider themed if we all eventually get all class types for races.

I wonder tbh what kind of racial they would have.

Would I play them? Sure id try them out.

But that YouTube channel has a pretty long track record of pulling stuff out of their butt for clicks.

I don’t know… Tauren and worgen got pretty popular. I play tauren because it’s minotaur monster aesthetic.

I feel the human ish form of them likewise has a bit of elegance to it that reminds me of the nightborne the alliance got. Only more arms. I’d definitely like to play one as my warlock for sure!

The theme could fit well.

Right. Just a speculation on if true, I’d likewise see how they play and if I like the casting animations and aesthetic of it I’d play.

They seem like they would look pretty cool in most armor types, especially if they are themed off classic Nerubians armor!

something with webs would fit well. maybe poisons?
maybe even a locust swarm aoe around himself.
or a shield thing. cause carapace.
heroes of the storm has anubarak which has a ton of abilities to take inspiration from .

Ah yes! If a big swarm that reminds me of the Unholy DK talent blight? Or pestilence? Was a black swarm of bugs I think? Gosh it’s been ages since then but I think was something like this in OG DK tree in Wrath

Or maybe a ground burrow that pops up spikes at the target that does some damage and a knock up into the air (of course won’t work on boss adds that can’t be CCd)

But indeed! So much potential!

It would play like augmentation eruption only small scale and not a hold to cast and likely with all racials it has a 1-2 min CD but it could be fun flavor.

Perhaps a Nerubian hunter with Nerubian pets on some empty RP server for rare mob/mog hunting.
