Would love to see more diversity among main characters🏁

I’d like more diversity with the main characters , jaina is white , so is anduin and literally everybody except wrathion. For example I would love it if the archmage antonidas (big in lore) was actually Asian like an old master pei mei.

Look at the Bridgetown cast and take a page out of their book.
Now I know back in 2004 at the inception of the game this was not so important but we have to go with the times, it’s 2021 now.

Nah. Make a character and go with it. If they are white, black, asian, etc, who cares as long as the character is good.

I miss when the important thing was if a character was decently written and not their skin color or gender.

No. Race changing characters for the sake of it, and especially to make them stereotypical, is stupid.

If you miss that time there are tons of good 1960s and 50s movies to accommodate you.

There are actually black characters in game now, which just wow’d me so much when I seen them because I can tell they aren’t just darker skinned white people but are actually supposed to be black. I even noticed a little black kid running around on one of those boats - the booty bay boat or one of them. Pretty awesome.

That shows me that Blizz is making a legit effort with diversity, so I can only imagine we’re going to see even more efforts to this end in times to come. I approve and am impressed. Not even trying to be ‘woke’, just saying, diversity is good. It’s a multi-colored world.

I understand where you’re coming from, but can’t redo characters, just go forward naturally. No big fanfare about it.

We honestly need some new blood on both the horde and the alliance. Perfect way to add some new characters with the customization options we now have available.

Humans in WoW are European/Arthurian archetype. Different ethnicities are represented by different races.

I think we should have more diversity. I think we should make more black characters. I think we should have more women. I think we should have everything non-white. I think we need some more gay characters. I think the gay characters should be married. I think we need some lesbians too. Some black lesbian Goblins. I think more characters should be transgendered. As a matter of fact, we should get rid of all straight characters in the game. Straight is bad. Straight white male is bad. Mental illness characters is what we need. Mental illness should be celebrated. I agree with this post. Have a nice day everyone.
