this is a game first and foremost. the primary focus should be on making that game enjoyable to play, not adhering to made-up rules.

Demon hunters are special because only Night Elves and Blood Elves can be them.
I wish Blizzard would go this far haha would be really neat and bring some flavor to the classes.

They do not all exist. There are some exceptions to the rule. Not everything is played by an NPC somewhere.
What’s the difference between letting people play literally anything and letting them play something (that doesn’t yet exist) other than your personal line of where stuff should be drawn?

Right? Glyphs could bring so much racial lore flavor to things.
Sunwalkers with fiery abilities.
Pandaren shamans with Pandarian elementals.
Silver spells for Night Elf priests.
And with glyphs people could have the vanilla spell effects if they preferred.

Indeed. Unfortunately, we are so far away now from the best Warcraft lore (RTS I, II, III, 2004 WoW) that at this point it probably doesn’t even matter anymore.
Think of it like this, and I realize there are similar examples that do exist and probably shouldn’t (forsaken priests), but goblins aren’t altruistic so they aren’t likely to be clergy and if they were they’d be more like the Borgia popes. BElves aren’t on the saving nature side of things so druid wouldn’t fit the character. Now, none of that is meaningful in any sense beyond roleplay. I think if they do it right those forsaken paladins won’t be so good at healing but maybe a little better at cutting things off from the light rather than bringing things to it.
How does it impact your gameplay if someone can look like something from anime? It’s the same argument someone else used.
How is enjoyment diminished? etc.
Restrictions make the game special.

Oo, really like the idea of silver spells for night elf priests. It’s kind of like druids. Their VFX scream “night elf” to me. Imagine how cool Kul Tiran or Zandalari troll druids would be with some more racial themed druid abilities… I could cry just thinking about it.
Going off the idea Ahawi suggested, I would love them to go as far as to actually design the VFX to just naturally fit the races… but yes, glyphs would suffice at least. I’m still waiting for them to make one that hides the dh metamorphosis form. I avoid playing one just because of it despite liking the class.
if anyone missed it, the Blubbery Muffins you can either cook yourself or buy cheap on the AH makes you a Tuskarr for 20 minutes.

Obviously they could add some sort of VFX so it could still be noticed, I just don’t want to be an ugly demon that entirely overrides my actual cool looking character.
