If they tuned classes in classic?
Honestly, like get over the “omg chamges, proceed directly to retail” stuff and think about it…
Like, wouldn’t it be cool if Vanilla ret paladin/bookin didn’t suck, etc etc etc.

Yes, it would be bad.
Here’s why. We all like Classic. It might not be perfect, but we can agree on it as a compromise position. Any change you make, someone will like, but someone else will dislike.
We’re all equally important. There’s no reason to weight one player as more important than another. Therefore, compromise is necessary, and the best compromise position is no changes.
#nochanges #goplayretail.
Just give it up already zzz
give them a hand…
I’m with you on this. I am really excited to play Classic but I also wonder what it would be like with the knowledge that the development team has today.
Knowledge like how to turn a diamond into a turd…
They should change paladins and give them a protective shield that they can cast and make it last so long, they can actually cast their hearthstone.
Ya, I think it would be cool. I have heard from plenty of people that despite how much they LOVE classic and are so excited, the dynamics of having the same classes be top tier, raid structure be the same, same worthless classes etc is something that is less than desirable.
Yes. Moonkin and Ret shouldn’t have any spots as they are selfish.
But is a tune really a change? Not really arguably…its no different than adding Sharding, starting at a later patch etc…
I see your point tho.
Keep it just the way it was. Thanks. This is coming from someone who would love to raid as a shadow priest btw

There really is no argument that a tune is a meaningful change that would affect gameplay.
If it wasn’t, then there would be no point in doing it at all. The fact that you want it is proof sufficient that it’s a change.
They already tuned them, you can log in to retail to see the new changes.
It’s not just tuning classes though…tuning a class also requires tuning loot drops, which takes tuning mobs and bosses, which takes tuning instances and dungeons, and so on and so on.
Can’t just bump a few numbers here and there and call the problem fixed, you’ll add more problems than you realize.
That modern knowledge is exactly why retail is dying lol.
Yes, of course it is. Humpty-Dumptying the English language to pretend that a change you want is somehow not a change doesn’t change, excuse me, tune the fact that if the changes you wanted weren’t real changes you wouldn’t even feel any need to ask for them.
Yes. It would suck. Next stupid question?
well, I don’t specifically “want” it. I’m just curious why people are so against making something more enjoyable. Im sure plenty of people that say “no changes!! zomg” would enjoy playing a ret paladin with competitive dps this time around.
The arguments against it just seem flawed? People want cookie cutter? isn’t that why people wanted classic back? Doesn’t make a lot of sense.
