Would buying/selling mountain dew codes for in game gold be considered RMT?

This seems borderline, so I would like to ask. Technically, it is an in game good, but its obtained through external means.

At the end, i don’t think so anyway. Does seem borderline though i agree.

Shouldn’t be, blizzard created this problem by making a promotion that is only good in the USA. The rest of us get screwed because they refuse to release these items in ways the international community can obtain like from the trading post etc…

It’s in-game gold for an out of game item. At the very least it wouldn’t be enforceable (susceptible to scams).

All transactions for in game gold are allowed. Also, Pepsi is the one with the code, not Blizz. So even trading codes for “gift cards” or other items would have to be reviewed by Pepsi, and legally pursued by them.

Borderline, maybe, but when Blizzard plays favourites between player nationalities they create the issue in the first place.
