Would be great to see a Blizz dev Stream

Basically what the title says, it’d be great to see a bunch of dev’s take a couple of hours to stream what they enjoy in the game at the moment, so we can understand where the blizzard dev’s find their fun, and they can feel more human to us, and not up on high people who seemingly don’t ever play the game.

I’d really like to see them do ironman challenges, do some raids etc, i think it could buy some goodwill back since everything they have done lately as thrown goodwill over their shoulders.

Oh. I thought you meant put a camera on their coding sessions.

This would be a great, amazing move on their part. Any kind of stream or direct interaction with the devs.

I’d like to see the developer in-charge of PVP play PVP.

hahahahahahaah…….

indeed, i do think some instances when a GM just chilled to watch your raid do an attempt and chill with people was something so wonderful there are youtube videos today reliving those moments, it really felt like at any time somebody from Blizzard could jump down and be like “hey guys!”

Think 10 hours of Jeff in front of the yule log would be more entertaining than that.

I’d like to see them just talk openly about their thoughts on how the current state of the game, what they like, what they dislike, current plans for upcomming content, recent changes…

Anything but another canned Q&A… something honest and open with no rigged or canned responses… just their raw unedited, unfiltered, views on current hot topics, recent changes, and future developments.

I don’t normally agree with much of what Asmongold says, but he had a great idea during his commentary of the last Q&A: Get some of the senior devs together in the late afternoon, give them booze, and have them get smashed and answer top voted questions. It would be a glorious tsunami of disgusting truth.

I understand the issue with ion just jumping into a live stream with somebody like Preach and answering the hot topics, if you watch a recent Talisen(sp) video they had an interview with somebody overlooking them “making sure they didn’t ask and record bad questions/replies” so i don’t think talking about the state of the game will be helpful in keeping jobs… but if they could stream and show us happy facing enjoying something in wow, i think it would go a long way to showing us Blizzard does have people who enjoy the game.

Many of the complaints recently have been “does anyone at blizzard even play the game?” and it would help if they show yes they do.

He’s not a wow dev anymore, but Celestalon WAS streaming… yesterday… in very… questionable attire, there’s probably a vod.

So you wanna see multiple Ions at the same time dodging serious questions like they all just popped evasion?

Ion does Mythic raiding, it would honestly be cool to see him play. Maybe have a raid designer with him giving commentary on the fights.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I think it would be interesting.

You honestly think they play this horrible mess? I doubt it very much, they all talk…

…Ohh yeah yeah my “insert class”, or when I doing “insert raid”…

I doubt they play, they just say they do, cause no friggen way they’ll allow class design be so horrible if they actually played the classes or be so disconnected from the game.

Sometimes I question it if they honestly played how could it have become this bad.

Person below me said, I’d want proof too.

I’d personally like proof that the devs played this game.

This is a good idea. Call up Mr. Blizzard and make it happen.

Only one I know of is Ion

That is confirmed, 100%, his character.

Is it confirmed he actually plays it? Or he says it all.

Like Illayia said I want proof. I wanna see him do Mythic…

It’s been his character since before he worked at Blizzard.

It also kind of proves he doesn’t have the pull people think he does… or shaman would be better :stuck_out_tongue:

Only 31 level necklace? Come on Ion! XD

Probably gets carried through everything… that’s why he thinks class design is good.
