Keep the XP ratio thing or w/e that stops max level toons from 1 shotting mobs for lowbies to get full XP, that was a good change or even the teleporting to people trying to safespot. Though it would be nice if specifically the enemy knock down stuff was reverted.
The game has/is getting to the point where people want to go back and farm Transmogs, Old world mats or even farm instances for gold(to a much lesser extent) and believe it or not it’s fun to pull an entire dungeon and AoE them down.
Obviously if we strongly believe this will cause an economy issue I’ll sit down but this is the only version of the game with this mechanic. It’d be nice to at least have a conversation about this topic.
Biggest change I want in regards to anti-boosting is for them to fix the damn level ranges of RDF so that someone isn’t put into a dungeon where mobs are gray to them and ruining the exp gain for everyone else in the party
I haven’t leveled many low level toons so I haven’t came across that. But if that actually happens that sounds so bad. RDF seems to be the most efficient way to level these days outside of getting Deepholm boost. Not that it would mater for Deepholm since you’re not boosting in the same way as a dungeon, but the Anti-boosting mechanics don’t apply to any new content; does it even apply to wrath dungeons now that we are in cata?
But I was shocked when I walked into Razorfen Downs and pulled half the dungeon on my boomie thinking I was going to farm cloth only to get absolutely slaughtered.
If I remember right, the worst points are around the 30s, where people approaching 40 can still get put in the early SM wings, and Wrath, where UK and the Nexus can still be rolled as high as like level 78
That knockdown mechanic is sooooooooooo lame. It completely got rid of that awesome feeling of being super powerful in lower level content, you’ve gotta act scared now because if you cant kill everything within a minute of your first mob pull you’re screwed…
