Would be cool

#nochange.

years and years down the line, i wouldnt mind if they developed stuff in classic that never made the final budget cut.

That weird presumably raid instance below winterspring… that sort of stuff. Karhazan could reasonably be released in classic as well as a post naxx raid.

Actually, I do run into people from my own server quite often. It is mostly in the current content though and not in pre-BfA areas. A couple of days ago I was doing dailies on my Shaman and noticed that a Hunter that was attacking the same ‘rare’ I was working on was from my main’s guild. Last night while doing dailies in Nazjatar, I found myself killing hydras with a couple from another guild that I sometimes raid with on my alts.

I actually do think it would be kind of cool for Classic to spawn a new offshoot of WoW into a totally different timeline where they try to expand content without packing on levels or substantially changing the game. It would need to be separate from Classic itself of course. I think if Classic is successful enough, then it could be worth it for Blizz to at least explore the possibility.

The op is suggesting to add new expansions to classic, then it wouldn’t be classic anymore it would be a new custom game and classic would be gone again…

The whole point of this is to bring classic back not go through all the same phases as retail again. You guys just want classic to be ruined so less people will enjoy it, that’s why its called trolling.

I don’t think anyone here wants Classic to be ruined. I think the idea is that new content could bring more of the real Vanilla feeling into the game as long as it is done ‘right’.

A big problem with Classic is that it will never feel like Vanilla did since everyone knows all of the content ahead of time. People have spent years on pservers refining the fastest path to the end game content. Creating an alternate game separate from current WoW and Classic where they explore where Vanilla could have gone if they didn’t make the choices that so many people feel ‘ruined’ the game could actually bring back that sense of boldly going someplace new and exciting.
