I have been thinking about this for a while ever since Warcraft 3 and Black Temple along with the Demon Hunter Campaign and is that will we ever see Akama be accepted back into the Draenei Society again. It has been over years on years since the Ashtongue and other Lost Broken Draenei have been part away from their Ancient Civilization and Society.
If Akama ever returns will there be a gateway into Broken Draenei being Playable at last and how will rest of the other Draenei react to the Broken Draenei Brethren including the Ashtongue?

We have Broken draenei openly allied with the Alliance/playable draenei. There is no particularly reason why Akama would be needed for a gateway into playable broken draenei.

There have been Broken living in the Exodar since TBC. I don’t think Akama makes a difference one way or the other.

Could be a Idea but I thought it would be kind of nice to see Akama back within the Draenei Society again after all the hardships and pain he has suffered through during the Orcish Horde Invasions on his own home capital turned into the Black Temple.
Certain members of the Broken are already allied with the Alliance - Farseer Nobundo and ostensibly the Kurenai to name a few. Akama was, and potentially still is, a religious leader of Karabor, but he is not the leader of the afflicted Draenei as a whole. I don’t see much reason for his return to make Broken more accepted than they already are.

Broken would have been a much cooler allied race than lightforged. Get you a rogue or shaman and dual wield hand-scythes like Akama.

Interesting topic, glad to read about the Broken.
I wondered myself what happened to Akama.
I will never understand why Lightforged where invented. The Broken would have been more iconic from WC3 TFT and would have been a so much better allied race. I would like to see them at least as customization option.

After what the Demon Hunters did to him during their Order Campaign, that question is kind of moot.

Akama is working for the Illidari, either on his own will or forced. Considering Kayne is the Illidari “Leader” players see in Aszuna, It’s likely Akama is being forced to fight for the Illidari… more so, hes chained while his shade is doing the fighting.
He’s probably not coming back to the draenei either way unless he’s broken out.

A Broken Allied race would be cool especially if their starter zone was the Black Temple. But at this point i think its more likely they could be added in as a draenei customization option. Given the pattern of how some other racial customization is being done such as:
Darkspear Trolls: Sand Troll & Dark Troll options (possibly some others)
Dwarves: Wildhammer option
Void Elves: High Elf option

Honestly, if we ever got a Broken Allied Race, I would actually expect it to be the Argus Krokul, not the Outland ones.
