I recently purchased a battered hilt on my alliance character and I am unable to pick up where I left off on horde side. Submitted a ticket but the GM had not heard of this bug so here I am.
The steps I’ve taken are as follows:
- Started up the Battered hilt quest chain on Atiesh alliance. (Char name Ghostcatt)
- Picked up the quest Tempering the blade, did not complete this quest.
- Used a faction change.
- Logged into Atiesh horde to pick up some gold from an alt.
- Server transferred to Grobbulus. (new charname Ghostkat)
- Flew over to Myralion Sunblaze in Icecrown to attempt to pick up where I left off.
This is where I run into the bug. From my understanding, your questline should automatically carry over onto horde side. However, Myralion Sunblaze offers me no quest or dialogue option when I click on him.
ps. Why is there an option to add a link to your post, if you get a popup that tells you you’re not allowed to add links to your post?
