So it looks like the 8piece set bonus that turns our vanish into a 5 second scuffed Cloak of Shadows is all we are going to get in SOD.
How are rogues supposed to have fun as the rogue archetype when we are literally going up against every caster class that has WOTLK+ SPELLS! We have no cloak of shadows??

This is going to be a tank only set piece…no rogue i know would take CoS over vanish.
This means DPS probably will only use this in raids…And nearly no one will use it for PvP.
I doubt it. Vanish is important to proc another Master of Subtlety buff +10% dmg.

It’s not CoS, it’s a tank def cd. That’s why it removes the vanish to not wipe threat.
Vanish should remove all dots …it’s a 5 min CD and we get blasted out of stealth instantly by aoe anyways.

Seriously, with the typical stunlock rogues kill within 8 global cooldowns.
I suggested this back in P1 when people started begging for CoS. Have it clear everything it would normally clear, but don’t give it the 5 sec of 90% resist. This was, of course, before priests got Dispersion, which I’d recommend nerfing that a bit as well. Also suggested giving warriors Shattering Throw to deal with pally bubbles, priest shields, and a big armor debuff on top of that.
You assume just like everyone else, but if we get runes in our cloak slot at 60 it wouldnt be too far off getting cloak of shadows. Just wait

Cloak just idiot proofs rogue and then there would be tons of them. Its better this way lol.
