Since this is the most beloved expansion for a lot of people , do you think it could surpass vanilla’s release in hype?
Nah, it won’t surpass anything. The story will suck, and as it looks now the gameplay might be the same. As in it sucks.

While probably the most popular expansion to date, by the time they reach WotLK (if they do) and BC has runned it course the novelty of a pre-expansion server would of have ran it’s course.
Plus the more hype it has the more of a train wreck it would become.

BC will surpass classic. BC was better than wrath too.
I agree that bc is the better expansion but i’m not sure if it would bring as much people as wotlk, merely because of the hype attached to wotlk
It’s hard for me to hype up the re-release of something having already played it.
I think we’d get a lot of “Wrath babies” who want to see what the hype they missed was all about.
While I started in BC and loved my time in it, I personally feel they should just skip to Wrath. Idk why, but I just don’t see a BC server generating as much excitement. I can’t put my finger on why… maybe because it’s just a bit more of a polished Vanilla? Idk really. Again, I loved my time in BC though, so I’d be happy either way.
I know it would probably make a lot of people mad, but if they came out and said they’re skipping BC (assuming they’re even doing more), I would understand.

I agree , i don’t think bc would move people as much as classic and wotlk
I just don’t see wrath being that popular again. Wrath was good but it was the end of the WC3 story that made it the perfect storm if hype. I don’t think it has near that level anymore.
Wrath was great. The most fun I had in any expansion ever.
However
I also played the hell out of Wrath, and was super sick of it by the time the Cata prepatch came rollin in.
I think a lot of Wrath fans appreciate it but don’t have the same nostalgia blindness that the Classic people did.
