WotLK Random Dungeon Finder Fix?

Make Random Dungeon Finder server exclusive.

That’s it.

That’s the post.

Agreed, how hard is that…

I think they should just have separate classic wrath servers, one client has the dungeon finder. The other wrath classic client does not have the dungeon finder.

This would be a great compromise. Make it so.

Idk people I personally thing the RDF being not included is bad, heroics already is easy enough you’re gonna do them in like 15 minutes and you will ALSO get less badges cause of no bonus from the RDF.
I hate spamming the chat for wotlk content, its fine for classic wow I like that. but wotlk content is so mundane and its a badge farm essentially later in the expansion.

Better idea, make friends and get good or play retail.

Better idea, stop trying to force people to play some way they don’t want to. Stop trying to force them to dump their friends and recruit new ones that meet your exacting criteria.

The damage is done, and there’s no way that you can undo it. This decision has doomed wrath classic, just like the decision to sell tbc mounts and boosts for cash turned off lots of people from that content.

Was it worth it to doom that game in the name of purity of design? Because that’s what you did.

Lmao I guess we will see but something tells me classic wrath is going to be juuuust fine without your precious LFD.

get good? wotlk heroics are a total pushover, and if you’re even decent at retail u don’t even use RDF you use the group finder tool lmao.

Exactly so it’s a good thing they removed it.

I guess people like you that suck at the game needs to build a premade build just to clear dungeons on heroic difficulty, but hey man people like you quit real quick after hitting max cap anyways.

don’t worry the dudes super negative and is part of the 1% that want it removed.

Yep people like me who have been on classic since launch 100% quit you got me, enjoy having to make a group and put effort into it instead of clicking the anti social button :^)

Actually, I withdraw my post.

It turns out, Classic DOES have Dungeon Finder (Looking For Group/ More), but no one uses it and/or refuses to use!

Yes, we will have Classic Wrath and NEW Wrath.

also gonna hit that retail money since shared.

TBCC was my last stop on the way to unsubville. TBCC with hope of lfd a goal. No LFD…retail blahs set in hard. account management screen was hit. I am only running comp stomp this week to setup 2/3 final chars for a better 10 start really. For comp stomp I am grateful. NIce way to close out the session. PVP gear in a fast pick up pvp event…

Not emo rage so much. I got better things to do games wise. Don’t like the food? go find another restaurant. 10.0 prelude I will be back. it shows promise. it just has to deliver that . Being nice…Blizzard can do that.

or the now theoried lfd chance in phase 2 like it was the first time. when they see they may have messed up their market polling. as clearly this alleged no wanting lfd data…was wrong.

Which ever comes first.

I don’t think there was any data. This is what Ion wanted to do, and didn’t care what players wanted.

I think it will be bad for leveling over all at lower levels especially. From what i have seen, looking at the forums, among reddit and other websites, their seems to be two main communities going at it.

On one hand, you have the people who hate leveling with the paid level boosters. I honestly feel like this is blizzards target market that i most likely to be in the hardcore end game and pvp crowd. They do not give a rip how they get to end game content, as long as they get their ASAP.

Then you have the other side of the community. These people do not seem to mind leveling up as much. In fact, they enjoy leveling. They just want that automated pace that the dungeon finder provided them in wrath when it was current content, and now in what is known as retail wow. I mean, i speak from the minority as someone who wasn’t a fan of the dungeon finder in the first place when it was added when wrath of the lich king content when it was current, but i also cannot stand paid level boosts.

But the dungeon finder community, is arguably wrath of the lich king classics target casual audience. In my op, i see no harm in adding the dungeon finder for these people. However, i would add some major restrictions for end game content. I would say to not add the 5 man heroic dungeons from burning crusade or wrath of the lich king to the dungeon finder. Those should be reserved for the hardcore communities. Same thing with the 10 man and 25 man normal and heroic raids across the board from 60-80. Those should all be done on foot also.

Blizzard is already compromising the integrity of the social aspect for leveling by providing the level boost in the first place in bc classic. It made it impossible to find groups in bc classic for leveling, especially if you were in the lower levels. So in my mind, i see no real harm in adding the dungeon finder at this point. Blizzard might as well try to please the majority of players on both sides of the fence at this point.

LFD was introduced in Wrath, is it not planned for implementation? Or is it going to be put in later like it was in Wrath? Just wondering.

As far as Blizz is concerned it will NOT be a part of the classic wrath. That being said,I would wager that there is a plan to implement it if the wrath classic falls on it’s face.
