Rating on PVP gear feels bad for those of us who do not enjoy arena, but love BGs and WPvP.
Blizzard themselves have given very clear reasoning as to why it feels bad and why it was removed (twice).
Adding rating to PVP gear in TBCC where it was not in the original TBC was a mistake, and adding it back in retail for shadowlands was also a mistake. They are getting rid of it for the next retail expansion (to essentially universal praise) and if there was a way to do the same for WotLK, I would be thrilled.
