As of today i can no longer use the mount. It says that “This spell is Unavailable to you”. It worked fine for the first few days.

me too, super annoying as i just learnt flying
I experienced the same issue. On my second WoW account, the quest from the innkeeper sometimes doesn’t show up, too.
I found this, so it’s a known issue. Hopefully a solution will be found soon.
