[WotLK] Let's talk Dungeon Finder

I assume you were referring to yourself, seeing as you’re a clueless fool guessing.

So would you rarely run dungeons with the same people or was the guild making it less tedious?

Which one was it?

Because the guild kind of implied you’d be running with the same people?

The same randoms.

Nice try though.

Have you played vanilla or TBC Classic?

I never guess what blizzard will do. They change their minds far too often for anyone to guess what they’ll do next. That’s why I don’t care what your guess is. If you were able to read and understand what I posted you’d know I don’t guess. Here is what I said

Sounds like you didn’t have any problems getting groups then, so why exactly do we need the RDF for this non issue?

Who said i didn’t have problem getting groups then or it wasn’t still tedious and unengaging?

i just said i was in guilds for group content not that it made it easier to get groups going.

Is this all you guys can do, twist what people say and add assumptions… like seriously?

This “version” of Wrath had RDF. Thinking that not having to spam for dungeons is toxic is kinda kooky.

Yeah, go play another game. Great advice. And this is why WoW went from being the king of online gaming to a laughingstock.

I linked this on another thread. But this was the blue post from when RDF was introduced.

Blizzard solution to folks not wanting to use RDF?

For those of you who greatly appreciated the LookingForGroup channel, fear not—this channel is still available! The LookingForGroup channel is not associated with the Dungeon Finder, however, so you may now use it at any time to search for questing partners, Battleground teams, outdoor PvP raids, or even dungeon groups (if you wish to do so manually).

To join this channel, simply type “/join LookingForGroup,” ensuring that capitalization and spacing are correct. Similarly, to leave this channel, type in “/leave LookingForGroup.”

I think this is a great compromise and one Blizzard even suggested in 2009!

I pity anyone who thinks spamming “LFM 1dps for blah, blah,” or accepting a wordless invite is social.

What you guys’ real life must be like. It’s sad, really.

It was more convenient than some of rhe other options, but it didnt put convenience as the number one priority like retail seems to. Edf was the turning point where convince becMe more important than any other aspect of the game.

The selling point of vanilla was that it was more convenient than the other options.

And Blizzard leaned into that in TBC and Wrath.

At that point blizzard understood that hard and casual content could exist in the same game.

The first time they tried to cater to the “it’s too easy” whiners in Cata was when they failed.

More convenient doesnt mean they had convenience as the number one priority. Rdf was the first sign of them now choosing convenience over everything.

Pretty dishonest BS right there.

Please stop.

No it doesn’t. It doesn’t remove anything. At worst it allows players to circumvent one specific social aspect IF THEY SO CHOOSE!

LOL CRBG was fine but for some reason RDF is a problem?

They don’t talk in lfg pugs, either. What do you suppose people should be talking about? If anyone’s saying anything it’s dungeon talk. And that’s whether you got there through lfg or rdf.

People pretending that lfg pugs just chat away like they’re old friends is the weirdest thing ever.

I haven’t seen people actually talk while in a dungeon anyways on Classic. Though could just be me and my server.
