You quite literally don’t need to kill the Lich King at all to get Shadowmourne, nor do you need heroic anything, it just makes it faster for higher drop chance on shards.
Pretending like Shadowmourne is gonna be hard to get in 2023 is silly.

Primordial saronite is gated by drops and competition from other crafts.
It’s not going to be as hard, but it won’t be like glaives etc…
Pretending TAKING THINGS AWAY is fun for anyone in 2022 is silly.

This game is fun, imo because it has quirky odd things like the first time I saw a shadowmourne in game was in WSG.
A belf pally was hiding behind the zerker hut waiting for the ally first flag push. We put him down but it was cool to see it in action.
You know your right beserking huts and any type of buff should be removed we all should be playing guild wars…
If you’d rather a buff then a nerf, then we can buff PvP weapons to be better than legendaries, even for PvE. How does that sound? Would that be a good compromise?

No they don’t, there’s a thread that’s been up for 5 weeks regarding this for season 3 TBC classic… Blizzards message to everyone is feel free to cheat, win trade, pilot, +100, and any other thing you can think of because they couldn’t care less.

I’m against nerfing them.
Smourne is a bis weapon, but heroic bryntroll is stupid easy to get and very close in power… At least in pvp
As for the healer mace, I don’t ever remember seeing the mace on a healer and feeling discouraged about my chances of killing them. Remember wrath pvp is relatively faster and bustier the mace isn’t going to necessarily save people
No, because it mostly nerfs melee in s8 by nerfing smourne and wizards will still be nearly unstoppable.
If anything, they should have active class balancing instead and not just let the ladder die like it did in TBC when they let rogues take over the ladder

Please acknowledge the issue that no cheating teams got banned from season 3 and there are a lot of players who got very screwed over. This is quite important.
I replied to you within a minute of you making a post but you don’t reply regarding absolutely nothing being done in TBC classic season 3. Not like you have any power anyway since you’re some random community member who thinks Blizzard actually bans cheaters when they can’t even do basic house keeping of removing empty teams ineligible for rewards.
I wasn’t aware they didn’t do any bans in season 3 like they did for seasons 1 and 2, I didn’t pay much attention to the ladder in season 3.
If it makes you happy, yes, I can acknowledge it, but not sure what I can do about it exactly. I can make a post on the community forums to poke Blizzard but that’s about it.
Blizzard is very bad at communication and they rarely respond to anyone.
a lot of items are broken. if you removed legendaries and double trinket stacking it would go a long way towards a better game.
If we are in the realm of removing leggos and bauble why not remove racials too. pvp should be about the better PLAYERS not the better gear/racials
You also learned quickly how unreasonable some of the players are here despite you reaching out a hand. My angry nerd arena compatriot is correct that blizzard allows boosting and cheating without any punishments in season 3 and prob season 4. It ruins the integrity of the ladder but thats a diff subject
List of pvp issues
- Ring of valor fire and ring of valor in general. The map is the worst map ever made in any competitive game. It promotes zugging and gives many comps free wins and others auto losses. Not fun
- Disallow engineering in arena. Rocket boots gloves etc are not cool
- Disallow heroic/non heroic trinket stacking
- Disallow Leggos
- Remove Racials
- Change all arena maps to retail versions
- CHANGE SACRED CLEANSING
These would be AMAZING starts

Please do. Seriously. You’re sitting here trying to have a discussion about PvP balance and making the game more fair, and Blizzard didn’t ban a single player even though there is overwhelming evidence. Even if not a single player cheated, why not at least remove the ineligible teams as has been done every season before? On top of all this they asked for 3 weeks rather than the regular 2 and still did absolutely nothing. If Blizzard can’t even make the minimal effort to enforce consequences on those who are abusing the arena system and/or cheating, it goes a long way in undermining the conversation we are having here.

The WoW community council is basically CNN asking prescreened questions.
This is how I feel on the matter As much of a pain in the butt it is to get those legendary weapons I feel that they deserve to PVP with them.
There are certainly some arguments to be had that the balance is broken in things of that nature And yes not every single class gets one.
But here’s the thing one of them Is a healing mace And the other one is a 2 handed ax that people aren’t going to be able to get their hands on until the end of the game.
By that point I think it’s completely fine Because again it’s not like people are gonna get shadow morn on day one Even if you clear the entire raid you still could not get shadow morn on day one.
Oh sure it’ll be faster But there are still going to be a required amount of time Before you actually get your hands on it So for that reason I think they are completely fine.

Perhaps ask Blizzard to look at the threads linked above about doing nothing with season 3 rewards. There was rampant and blatant cheating. Honestly, it kills the game by doing nothing about the 100 point boosters, wintrading, boosting, etc. Can you imagine how a new player feels when they’re trying to step into the arena only to queue into a double glaive rogue/X wearing a Gladiator title because X person bought a boost?
You have all these sweaty clowns that are almost 40 years old actively destroying the ladder with sales and they turn around and complain about Blizzard not doing anything about it yet they continue to destroy it. Then they wonder why they sit in 20+ minute queues.
