Should note that the event is only active on EU so far. We’ll see if this happens on US as well.
It’ll happen since the devs are lazy and won’t fix the bug until it’s live on the US, just like every event. So the EU loses 1-2 days every event and they don’t even extend them for us.
Also just to note, you can walk in to the dungeon and summon the boss 5 times just like before the Dungeon Finder update.

Can confirm. Also there’s no teleport on this version? we had to run manually over there to the dungeon…
lmao, yeah just confirmed that. I hadn’t tried queuing for it until now. Everyone was confused about why they didn’t get ported over. The hunter and I had already ran over prior to queuing, but since we’re on different realms, we weren’t able to run to the stone and summon people over.
You can summon other people from other servers BUT you need to have at least two from the same realm to summon the rest of the group…
I wonder how long until they notice over there…

They just removed the ability to queue for the dungeon now. Its missing from the dropdown list.
They need to remove mount from drop table and add it to the box.
But atm, retail Vday is a crudshow so this isn’t gonna be fixed for days.
Yeah like that’s going to happen. Most people don’t want to do that. Come on, get the bug fixed, thanks!

So how do we engage with this event now? If we walk over are we still able to receive the rewards from the boss? Tbh the dungeon finder + box was so much better because you didn’t have people ninja’ing 4 runs without their lockout.
Yes, for now it functions the way it did pre RDF, you have to run in and do the daily 5x. Pets and mount drop off the boss.

At least put summoning stones inside the dungeon and reduce the respawn time for the boss. You spend 3x the time waiting for respawns vs actually killing the bosses, and people are constantly on different layers, making it impossible to summon outside.
Still bugged. No LFD tool option and no box. Makes no sense after the mount/account change in ICC patch, why the Halloween event had LFD/boxes and this event doesn’t.
According to a wowhead comment from 2010: “As of 3.3.3 the mount will dropp from a kind of box, obtained the FIRST time you kill Hummel each day (just like the emblems of frost reward) IF you use the dungeon finder (Which will let you search grp for world event bosses). Still the same droprate although it will not be shared by grp members.”
blizz confirmed they aren’t fixing it this year.
