Having looked through a bunch of class guides and whatnot I think I’ve finally settled on maining DK in the coming WotLK Classic release. It was a long process, from spriest to shaman to moonkin to rogue to moonkin to Paladin before that but we got there eventually.
With that said, I’ve done some basic googling but couldn’t find what I was looking for and can’t remember for the life of me. So would any of y’all happen to know off hand if DK creation was limited to the server where you had your 55+ character? Was that already removed by 3.3.5 or was that in a later patch?
I’m curious if they’ll be available for leveling in pre-patch as well, but to my knowledge that’s something we’re waiting on Blizzard to confirm.
Appreciate y’all’s time and any wisdom you have to share on the issue.
The Rise of Death Knights – Available to both factions and starting at level 55, Death Knights—World of Warcraft’s first hero class—harness the powers of darkness to help combat the evil that threatens Azeroth. While Death Knights are limited to one per server and require a level 55 character on that server to create, in Wrath Classic, we will be bypassing that requirement for a player’s first Death Knight.
Right now I’m stuck between Human and Dranei for Alliance and Blood Elf against Undead for Horde.
Not super concerned with EMFH since I won’t be PvPing, so for the most part on alliance it comes down to faster rep or the hit rating and “the waggle”, for horde it’s just whichever I think looks cooler at the time tbh.
