I joined an ulduar 25 raid and when we were clearing the first few mobs I had problems with my internet connection. However, I received the raid lock without having participated in the first boss fight.
Now I can’t make another ulduar and I didn’t make this one either. And even trying to enter with my lock in the raid a message appears saying that I will get cd in 11 bosses if I continue inside.
I ended up creating the post with the wrong character. this happened on my shaman nick Diabita

There are certain events which can trigger a lock to avoid potential exploits or other, unintended behaviour - not just killing bosses. It isn’t unreasonable to assume that any action which results in some kind of NPC feedback, such as speech or repositioning, is going to trigger a lockout as those which don’t are generally the exception. Initiating the Flame Leviathan encounter just happens to be one of those non-boss lockout points, which I suspect has to do with the ability to pre-destroy the encounter-altering towers or not.
Ulduar still uses the original raid lockout system, where you are locked to an entire raid rather than just the bosses you have killed. So as soon as you became locked to the raid you also became locked to any kills that take place in there - whether you were present or not.
The Flex Lock system (ie per-boss lockout) was not introduced until Icecrown Citadel.
