Please let the majority speak up and spam these forums and emails to Blizzard. We can not allow the minority loud social media nerds ruin original WotLK!
Do you want to spend 5 hours shouting chat and flying back and fourth to dungeons for Wrath? I know I don’t. Thats why I do 0 dungeons in TBC.
Removing RDF is crippling WotLK. You won’t find any geared people going for daily badges, once they have their gear they will be done. So you will have a constant struggle of not only finding people, spending a lot of time forming groups, flying to dungeons. But also the only people going will be undergeared people looking for gear.
I can say with 100% certainty that if there is no RDF, I will not be playing classic WotLK at all. It will ruin the original experience for me, and many of my friends I know have already told me the same.
If there is no RDF I guarantee classic WotLK will suck on many levels. This will also put a crippling effect on raids.

The “original” experience was LFD didn’t come into Wrath until much later.

I know in original WotLK it didn’t drop until ToC I believe it was. This doesn’t change my opinion though. I’ve been on WotLK private servers for years and there is hundreds of thousands people who have wanted WotLK back for a long time. And all these servers survive because they have the features everyone enjoys.
If Blizzard decides not to release RDF at launch, it will kill people wanting to level a new character, or multiple characters. Until it is released. And it will hurt how heroics are approached and in continuation of that. Raids as well. RDF is such a huge focus point on WotLK.
From many points of view, not just the I’m lazy and don’t want to form or travel to dungeon aspect.
The leveling aspect, if people want to switch mains in wrath, or level multiple characters.
Its painfully slow and it reduce the availability of active raiders in the first month, due to leveling new mains, professions, getting gear to be raid ready etc etc.
It also reduces having competent players join dungeons because all the good players will be geared and have their badges. And there is zero reason for them to join more dungeons, which will make gearing hard for alts or new characters.

I suppose that’s why Classic, BC Classic and SoM were so popular. That precious LFD…oh wait…
I don’t believe anybody who claims they want the “original” experience and then ask for things that weren’t the “original” experience. Brack is right, “you think you do, but you don’t”.

That’s what classic wow was, though. If people didn’t actually want to play classic WoW, they shouldn’t have asked for it.

The majority of the classic community did speak, and that is why there will be no LFD.

Which is so funny 'cause Brack used this as his very example of why people wouldn’t want Classic lol
Though, it never took me five hours. Even on slow hours, an hour at most, for recruiting.

Everytime someone brings it up now as some “Gotcha” moment I am thinking “Well, he wasn’t actually wrong.”

I think he’s only guilty of applying it to ALL. That’s his only crime. Otherwise, the context of what he said still holds true.

True. I always said there would be a core community that 100% would be into it, and remain into it. But there would be a sizable portion of people claiming they did then balking at getting exactly what they asked for.

A majority did not speak up, a handful of popular people mentioned how they wanted things. If you want the REAL opinion of people who have wanted WotLK for YEARS. I suggest you check out the private server scene. Where people have lived in WotLK since Cata came out. And 95% of them will agree with what I have posted.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the Classic forums because they most certainly did speak up.
Keep it authentic. Introduce the dungeon finder part way through.

I have a feeling, that might be Blizz’s plan. Anger their player base and then “surprise” everyone with LFD to pat themselves on the back with PR talk like “look, we’re listening!”
Exactly like they did with lowering the prices of cloning.
I suggest you familiarize yourself, a quick search of the whole forums with "Wotlk RDF (matching title first post) there is an OVERWHEALMING amount of people who want RDF at launch. And not a single post saying they do NOT want RDF at launch.

They don’t care what “the whole forums” think. They care what the Classic forums think. You are not their target audience.

Excuse me? I’ve played since original classic, through legion, back to Classic and Classic TBC. I am exactly who they should be targeting.
Edit: This search included the classic forums by the way.
