On WotLK classic Preserved Holly is always turning mounts into the ground mount reindeer. This makes The Fa-la-la-la-Ogri’la achievement impossible because it requires the flying version of the reindeer to get credit.

Experiencing the same issue. Have tried most of my flying mounts in hopes that it would be mount specific, but no such luck.
I am encountering the same issue. The reindeer is only a ground mount and cannot fly.
you can complete it on your normal flying mount and then change it to the reindeer when you are back to turn it in

The problem people are having is that the achievement credit requires you to be on the flying reindeer when handing in the quest while it only ever gives the grounded reindeer.
yes, about 10 min ago and my reindeer didn’t fly either
Looks like it got hotfixed within the last 2 hours. As you can see from the tread, people tried exactly this earlier and it wasn’t working.

i literally tried the method above and it worked just fine for me, not 10 minutes ago. i have a feeling it depends what flying mount you turn into the reindeer before turning it in. because someone on a flying carpet just tried it and it didnt work for them, meanwhile i used my netherdrake and got the achievement just fine

confirmed. they fixed it. just do the quest normally and before turning it in use the holly to transform your mount to a reindeer and it gives you achievement.
complete the quest as you normally would. then transform and turn the quest in. you’ll get credit and the achievement.
