No its not. Why can I stream with no problem (even if I am not on wow period). Why can I watch youtube or go to websites with no problem or play other games not related to Blizzard.

None of those activities have anything to do with your connection to Blizzard game servers. All things you connect to use different routes and require several companies to make the connection possible. Just as your doctor is not located at the grocery store, Blizzard game servers aren’t hosted inside Google’s YouTube datacenter.

If you’re still having issues after the DDoS attack, a WinMTR would help figure out what’s happening.

If you’re from the north east USA playing on a west coast server it may be due to a hop in or around Chicago. I get desynced often. This is my WinMTR

Also just to note, switching to another ISP isn’t a solution when a vast amount of NA citizens don’t have a 2nd option.
