WotLK Classic - Can't update equipment set

Didn’t have any problems with it until now.

  1. Get new piece of gear and equip it
  2. Open equipment manager
  3. Click equipment set I want to overwrite
  4. No matter what I type I can’t click “Ok”, all icons are blank too

Edit: Could save gearsets again after swapping to a different gearset and back.

I’m having the same issue… I thought it may be an addon causing the problem but when I disabled them, still the same issue…

The equipment manager is being very dodgy for me as well, I was getting the same LUA errors and finally managed to delete the set I think was causing it, now any time I create a set it just disappears when I click it

No addons running either

Here to report the same bug. Same exact testing steps as OP.

uncheck the feature then re-enable it.
you can at least update the sets, but it will break again.

It’s still bugged. Half the time I equip a new piece of gear I can’t save and overwrite the old set without deleting it and unequiping everything. Basically have to start from scratch half the time I get a new piece of gear… Why is the expansion so buggy?

This only works sometimes. I end up starting from scratch about half the time.

Here’s what I do currently to fix this bug when it appears:

  1. Click the set you want to edit and click save
  2. Click one of the blank icons
  3. Select another set

At this point, both sets should have their name and icons back and work as normal. I’ve done this solution countless times today :slight_smile:

Hi All,

I’ve been having this same issue the last few days and (think) I’ve found the solution; if you go back and forth between windowed mode and fullscreen, it is the culprit. I literally went into windowed mode TO read this forum post and everything in my equipment manager is working properly again.

I’ve been having this issue since the prepatch launched. At first, I could fix it half the time by disabling it and then re-enabling it, but for the last couple weeks not even that has worked. Pretty pathetic.

Same issue. Blizzard do you have a status update on this and when this may be fixed?

Yes, i would say i’m glad i’m not the only one currently suffering from this new feature, but you know how it is.

Switching to windowed mode allowed me to delete a bugged profile and fix the issue. Thanks!
