Wot in an Oppressed Nation

So I’m going through the Hearthstone forum thread talking about the issue and came across this nuclear take:

“I for one fully support Blizzard taking a hard stance on this kinda thing.
Nobody here would be uninstalling anything if he was banned for supporting NAMBLA.”

I don’t get it.

I… you know I want to believe that person is trolling, but idiots are abound.

is it too late to get rid of The Gamers™

ill keep that in mind, thanks for the heads-up! So question: where can I get in touch with the rp community here? Is there a discord server like there is for Wyrmrest?

Square Enix is working closely with the Chinese company Tencent now, but I don’t particularly know good or bad news on that front.

Speaking of final fantasy i finally got enough horns for Ixion.

that has me worried! O.o

I only have one thing to say.

Jesus motherf*cking tapdancing sebastian on a motorbike.

I mean if you guys want to get really wild, Tencent contributes an “undisclosed amount” of Discord’s annual funding.

I’m glad I never got Nitro or anything.

i never understood the point of Nitro

You can’t play any game without touching a company that’s working with Tencent.

I love this

I guess the important thing is to wait and see whether they value their business partners more than human rights? Would they ban someone for speaking out against china’s anti-LGBT stances, for example?

as sad as it might be to say… realistically? Probably.

Meanwhile in some of my circles you can’t bring this up without somebody crying about chinaphobia.
