I only seen a thread online about it. On Linus tech tips they stating x amount wasn’t enough and pc just shut down but most the replies stated 850 could handle.
So far from my personal experience, I haven’t had that issue. And this is currently with a +10% power limit and +75mhz core/+200mhz memory.
Hey I have a question. Imma have all my parts on Monday except for windows. I was gonna just use the free version with the water mark then activate a key later but I am wondering will everything work like internet like this? Never tried it this way.
I’m off Wednesday and Thursday but can’t buy the key until Friday. Or do you suggest just waiting.
Yeah, it’s fine. You get all the security updates/etc. and only lose out on UI customization. I only have paid licenses on two of my systems. The rest can deal with the watermark.
You can get grey market keys if you want. Or if you have linked your Microsoft account to a retail Windows 10 license (not OEM) it will follow you to the new system if you activate Windows with your Microsoft account (not local user).

I only got oem on my other one. Thanks for the help. I think I had that issue I had to call them to activate my key but this was like months down the line after I built it
