Worth it without fyr'alath?

Didn’t touch warrior much in s3 as I hated fury with Odyns.
Is it worth playing without the axe or should I just play prot?

It doesn’t add that much dps, you’d be fine with something crafted.

I suspect that Ashkandi copy will be very competitive with it too…

I mean it’s 4.5-5% better than anything else still since it won’t have a ilvl advantage this season.

Whether that’s too big is something only you can decide as a player, but it’s not a small difference IMO

new item is out to buff its ilvl so it is still the highest ilvl weapon in the game for 2h users

P sure its ilvl caps out at 528, which is the same as anything on myth track.

It’s still BiS. You can still pop into random heroics to try and get one. Currently, I have a 519 and 506 2hs, but Fyr’alath is still in my OH at least. I’d drop it for Arms until it’s upgraded, though.

rare items have a different track, there are like 4 items from the new vendors for example that are 1/14 instead of 1/12, its full possible it upgrades 1/14 to 535ilvl like those rare items do.

It will though. Legendaries will have the 14 upgrade track from the vendor as they are considered “very rare” items from their respective bosses. Which are both final bosses. In fact no other 2 hand str weapon will have that. The only weapons that will have the 14 upgrade track (two upgrade tracks above 4/4 myth = 12/12 bullion track) will be Fyr’alath, the bow from Razzy and the Evoker Legendary.

Yeah any piece of gear that is from the final bosses of a raid that are under the very rare list will have the 14/14 upgrade track instead of the 12/12 track from the bullion vendor. These include

Ring from Broodkeeper
Bow from Razsagath
Trinkets from Echo
Cape and Evoker Lego from Sark
Trinkets and Fyr’alath from Fyrakk.

It is because these items drop at 535 ilvl this season, and myth track ends with 528 (myth 4/4), which also equals 12/12 for everything else off the vendors.
