Worst Quaking Ive ever had so far

Just did a Nokhud today. Last boss.

Quaking was literally so perfectly timed, it detonated the exact split second we got slurped together and one shot all of us and bricked our key. Happened a 2nd time the next fight, and had to think outside the box to avoid the pull in case it happened a third time. (Learned that Wild Charge in travel form bugs the pull and rubberbands you back lol)

Can we please just make very specific boss mechanics pause the quaking timer or just do something to avoid completely unavoidable RNG situations like this?

Sure there are technically certain ways you could avoid this depending on the classes, but this is really silly design for an affix.

Even if you have mitigation options to try and tank a 5 stack quaking that’s unavoidable, there will be a point where that can’t be mitigated anymore.

I was doing halls of valor yesterday and we all went through the portal to fenrirs area when we were teleported there we all instantly died because of quaking TLDR quaking shouldnt activate out of combat as well

This affix just needs to be removed, there are too many places like this.

Did it occur to anyone in the group to not take the portal at the same time on quaking week?

One that’s caught us a few times is Absolute Zero during the penultimate Azure Vaults boss. We have to sacrifice some health and mitigation when Quaking lines up with the stack.

This was supposed to have been hotfixed, but does not appear that way. I’ve had this happen as well.

The hotfix to Doragosa’s vacuum went through, though. /shrug

I did it a few times today and the hot fix seemed to work for us.
