According to GD, every expansion is the worst expansion. The sky has been falling without end for 14 years during every single one of them.
BfA does have problems and had a rough start, but I’m still optimistic about it.

This expansion is ok. Its coming after one that people appear to have REALLLY liked so it kinda feels like its dropping the ball.
It’s still not as bad as wod to me.
Wod left me with that feeling you get when you walk up the stairs for something get to the top and forget why you were even there to begin with.

I’m on Draneor for the first time and I think it’s great. There’s an absolute ton of single player content. The only gripe I have so far is that Gorgrund desert area is overcrowded and kind of a pain. But on the other hand the zone is split in two and it looks like you only have to do half of it based on your decision north or south for Loremaster

As Asana said, to GD every expansion is the worst expansion.
Doesn’t mean there aren’t problems with it. It just means that these forums always treat the current expansion as if it were all of WoW’s worst expansion.

I don’t know there’s a lot of hate towards this expansion… while it’s not exactly stand outish or innovative it’s still good enough to where I’m enjoying coming home from a long day and doing some casual content. Honestly the boredom I feel in the new zones and dungeons is the same boredom I felt in burning crusade at bland and uninteresting Outlands. Think it just comes down to people being tired of playing the same game and want something refreshing like legion just was

How are you guys rating it? BFA has only just begun. The first raid and pve wise has been great so far. Excited to see what they come up with for future raids. Yes I only log in 2-3 nights out of the week like most, but the game is still fun and challenging at high end raiding.

Not in the slightest, no. Wod was absolutely the worst because half of what they announce didn’t make it into the game, causing an insane lack of things to do, with their biggest feature in the garrison being a completely counter productive addition to an mmorpg.
You may DISLIKE bfa but it has infinitely more to do than wod, and that alone should make it objectively more expansive.
You can dislike or like whatever you want, but really to say any expansion is worse than one where half of what was announced at blizzcon didn’t make it into the game is just demonstrating you really arent aware of why wod was unsuccessful.
Either way, we will have to wait to see what the future of bfa holds before we can say one way or another. WoD was also notoriously bad because it only had one major patch and one new raid.
If that happens in bfa, then we can talk.
