For a long time, there was no raid boss I hated more than Hellfire Assault when it was the current content. It didn’t help that my spec (Feral) was garbage at AoE at the time. It was a glorified trash fight, and god, I’d really be late to raid just to skip it.
Then Mythic Drest’agath happened. The crown for Worst Boss Ever fits atop a new head! Please take me back to HFC. I will beg to be benched for this fight.
Anyone else passionately despise bosses like this?

it starts with mythic Tyrant Velhari. Trying to position that boss just right was awful.
I’m going to add Jaina Proudmoore to the list - both heroic and mythic. moving. her. sucked.
Drest’agath is def. on my list of bosses I hate, not because of movement but mostly just cause the fight sucks.
I’m currently working on mythic n’zoth and am not having fun… at all. it’s kind of disappointing. stupid psychophages. The side with the monk? they’ve got dave. easymode. The side with the bear? good. luck. ugh.

Nzoth is just garbage. I remember it was SO easy to kill heroic Argus. Why TF is Nzoth such a pug killer, requiring 2/2/6?
I really, REALLY hate bosses who have some sort of RP event or invincibility phase tied to them.
heroic nzoth doesn’t require 2/2/6.
But it eventually becomes that at least when I’ve done it
Spine of Deathwing still annoys me to this day. Can’t really say the same about other bosses.

We’re about to kill Carapace this week (fun fight imo), then it’s off to N’Zoth. Any tips? 
2/2/6 makes it easier. I think you get less tentacle spawns or something.

While Drestagath is certainly a bad encounter, the worst boss ever for me is EASILY Maiden of Vigilance from Tomb of Sargeras.
A fight where everyone must be 100% in control of their movement, down to the centimeter, at all times.
Anyone 1 cm out of place, for 1 second, during the entire fight? BOOM raid wipe.
Every time we wiped on Maiden, it felt like i had a box of nails next to my keyboard, and had just taken a handful and started chewing on them.
I HATED that boss like nothing before or since.

My guild does okay with Drest’Agath, but we are only Heroic - not Mythic! I am impressed with you for all of your mythic kills! My guild struggles with Il’Gynoth much more because we raid with 30. We’ve been lucky with Frothy Zothie because of our great tanks!
I did for sure. It wasn’t fun then and it’s not fun now even though we can steamroll through it.
I totally forgot about Maiden, and now I’m having vivid flashbacks of my friends flying into the hole and never coming back. Collecting colorful orbs… ah, yes. I remember.
oh good one. Maiden is also a pretty bad fight in the list of awful raid bosses.
I’d probably nominate Xanesh too, but at least on Xanesh, you could simply not assign your… let’s say… less mechanically talented… players to a soccer team.
be patient when it comes time for your 2nd psychus team to learn the movement/timings of that phase.
the first team will have had many, many opportunties to perfect their route. The second team though, hasn’t.
that’s where we are right now. we’ve gotten through the 2nd psychus phase a few times, but not cleanly. Our first psychus team has just had like… 3x the reps on their part.
that and, drink.
oh, jumping off the edge on wipes won’t cause durability.
and while the raid lead is going over stuff, there are some GREAT opportunities to swapblast that one guy who is jumping around like a headless chicken right to the very edge of the platform. not that I’d ever do such a thing. nope. (mouseover macro that swapblaster so he can’t see you targeting him)
I’m not quite as good as other people, but as someone who normally just pugs heroic raiding for a tier, it has to go to heroic KJ.

I second this. Spine is still one of the worst encounters ever.
I personally dislike Mythic Helya from the Trial of Valor because we couldn’t bop her squad even with 4 120s lol.
