Worst advice youve gotten in a solo shuffle?

And half of those do. Its also a Disc Priest healer so they have death/fade/smeld if nelf. If the Disc is smart they will stand near the kill target or frozen orb so that sheeps break to aoe when all else fails.

I’m saying this because I’ve played against a lot of frost mages this season, the good ones WANT to be the kill target because they can stall the game out and then win in high damp. If the hunter was MM then absolutely go mage, BM is nowhere near as good because pets are very easy for a frost mage to stop. And while that is happening, as Swole mentioned, the enhance is perma waddling while the mage chills behind/beside a pillar lol.

U can purge mage shields/alter and by taking a dps out of the game (aka pressuring a caster) you make it way easier on your healer.

Don’t play dumb you know what i mean. Chimaeral sting, sorry I forgot they changed the ability name for the 30th time. The one that silences after Scorpid venom.

My guy, you have no response. Please illustrate how you take the warrior out of the game while chasing a mage. Then illustrate how you are destroying a frost mage that is hugging a pillar, rooting pets and permaslowing everything while the warrior is slapping you around

Not playing dumb. You said both silencing shot and scorpid sting in the same sentence. I’m not going to guess what you meant when BM has neither of those.

I already explained it. First off, it’s mind numbing to have to argue that a BM hunter doesn’t just stomp any mage, but here we are. In this instance, we have 3, again… THREE offensive dispels. Those dispels completely go to waste on the warrior.

As a hunter, I would much rather keep distance between the warrior and me as much as possible. Buy going on the warrior, we completely negate some of the best cc hunters have. Even if we’re just tossing down tar trap, we are fully utilizing those roots. All the better if the warrior wants to pop blade storm to get out of the roots. The warrior isn’t going to reflect any traps if they are sitting stuns from binding or intimidation. Take diamond and you do’t even have to worry about dispels. So it’s stun > trap > root. This is every 30s if the warrior sits the hunter. Even ignoring that, if the warrior is on my enhance, it’s a really bad match up. I’d much rather kite the warrior and control the mage and mitigate that damage.

Again though, this is BM into a mage. Even on my SV I’ll take going the mage all day. I can pull block on my first CC. I’m not sure you realize how big of a mismatch this is.

Rogue whisper

“stop playing like ur on mind-numbing poison IRL”

:frowning:

was in a 1600 game or something and one of the dps was convinced that the play was to train the awc champion healer lol

You aren’t aware of what you’re talking about.

Looking from a hunters perspective. You do u and get permaslowed

“stop cloning, it DRs my fear” - disc priest vs double ele shaman + Rsham in s3 dragonflight. Incredible.

I think both of you were wrong lol.

At the end of the day, the best tactic in shuffle is to hit what’s good.

If a mage is kiting and abusing LOS, there is literally no reason to try and run him down. Swap on the warrior, force them to D-Stance or parry.

Mage pops out to CC your healer or get damage off? Pop the mage to force him back or make em use block then swap to warrior.

You can’t expect your enhace shamman to blindly W key at the most mobile and control heavy class in the game.

Damp ramps fast in shuff and someone will die around the 2 min mark. Force cooldowns early then drop the guy who doesn’t have an answer to your damage.

IDK, i honestly dont listen to other players.

But some good advice would be to utilize the ping system and change targets based on what is happening in game. Too many times people will tunnel the “kill target” and never think to swap based on defensives or positioning.

Either mage or warr probably are good targets for a BM/Enhance Team. BM shreds mages and warriors but is likely better vs warrior cause the mage can negate a lot of pet damage.
But Warrior is probably the best target, less tanky than Mage, worse defensively, worse mobility etc.
Once you get Parry/ER it’s GG.
Personally as a warrior, I have an idea of who the kill target is but I always end up just hitting whatever is closest to me. This strat seems to work

It has to be the male upright brown orc warrior with tusks riding s2 SL drake named xXxGarroshDidNothingWrongxXx saying “lets go healer” and once he notices healer wont die he never lets off and keeos going healer 6 rounds. Ofcourse he goes 0-6.

Happened too many times

Isn’t enhance practically a ranged spec at this point ?

Enh and hunter….+ disc…… so 2 ranged kicks/grounding totem, death/fade for sheep, how in the hell is the mage “unchecked” even if your not on him in that scenario? Please explain.

Sure. That was the mage.

Well, yea, obviously. If the mage is playing super defensive, I’d swap. I mean, if you have half a brain you’re always going to hit the target that makes the most sense relative to positioning. If I can’t connect with one target, I’ll swap. The mage can just as easily peel me off the warrior as himself.

It’s just nutty to me that anyone would not think BM into frost mage and mage isn’t the automatic choice if you have to pick between two targets.

I was the enhance shaman. @_@

In this instance, we had 3 offensive dispels and mass dispel for block.

Pillars exist and lining kicks isn’t difficult. Are we saying mages aren’t going to get CC? Even a light amount of pressure makes that substantially more difficult.

glad im not the only one that gets terrible advice in shuffle lol

Mage is definitely very survivable, but warrior is absolutely tankier than mage, especially into hunter +shaman, what?

A healer once told me that I needed to push in for my traps and be more in their face against a destro lock, frost mage and ele sham team lobby. I told him we can play the pillar and win in dampening. He disagreed. I pushed in the next game and got promptly vaporized.

That’s what you get for listening to the random healer in shuffle!

9/10 times people don’t actually want to be right, they just want to blame a loss on something so they can FEEL right.

Also, I lvl’d two alt druids with timewalking and one is full geared and ready to Q whenever!
