Has wow pushed people away from a “main” or has the playerbase constantly been requesting the game to be more alt friendly?
Guardian druid is fun as all hell, just go bristleback spec and every 3 minutes you do 500k more dps.
They are intertwined.
To many people “alt friendly” means “alts = mains”. If your fresh alt needs more than 10 days to be on par with your main, people will complain.
This lessens the incentive of Blizzard to properly balance and design classes.
I literally have 4-5M aoe dps spikes as assassination. You are doing something fundamentally wrong.
What’s wrong with Havoc? I literally walked through all the content up until T7 delves. Then I just switched to tank to get up to 10.
BM hunter is the most messed up spec combo. It was bugged and overpowered in the pre-patch and then immediately completely nuked and made unplayable.
Augmentation Evoker is an awful experience. It’s classified as a DPS spec but you spend 75% of your time buffing others with small, short duration buffs (if you’re playing it “correctly”) as you watch other do…you know…actual DPS…just like their spec is advertised. Who ever came up with this monstrosity of a spec must’ve fallen and hit their head. BLAH BLAH BLAH!! But that’s OKAY, because Devastation and Preservation are works of ART!
Monk seems pretty pogged. Enjoying Brew/WW most.
I get about 1.2 mill spikes. Your gear is far better than mine. I also wasn’t talking about AOE in M+, where Sin excels. I know where they excel.
The post also wasn’t about numbers, so you either didn’t read it or didn’t comprehend it.
Brewmasters aren’t nearly as bad ad some say it is.
We are the least played tank class though.
It all comes down to pilot’s stagger management.
But yeah…the perception is already here. As 2,100 (all 7’s) I get declined from 7’s from at times.
…and it makes sense lol. We aren’t bad, but others are better (except for paladins RIP)
Warriors just take the least damage
DKs are godly self healing machines (+brez)
Druids can be a hit or miss as I’ve heard, but still spongy. (+brez)
As for healers, Rdru is the only healer I need to wait for to sit and drink.
I think I’ve bricked most runs with priests healers.
I’m also sad that OL is gutted for keys.
Ele sham chain lightning is awesome. Idk why but it looks better than the enhance chain lightning.
I dunno, something felt very off for me for Brewmaster this expansion. Granted, I’ve not played one since SL but It was my main tank for BFA and the start of SL. I tried it the past week or so and despite my best efforts, keeping aggro from another tank, or even the DPS sometimes, was MUCH more of a struggle for Brewmaster than it was on my other tanks and I couldn’t figure out why. Survival wise I was fine.
As for Worst Class/Spec. I would say whatever you enjoy the least, or struggle with the most, will be the worst. For Example, I like Rogue but I can’t really understand how to play it effectively so I just mill about on it for fun, I have a much more engaging time as other DPS.
Sure, it’s everyone’s own personal opinion, but every spec is viable.
I mean, Brew and guardian druid were in the race to world first. Holy priests in M+ right now feel pretty down, but yet people are already in 2400+ in the first week or 2…
Each class has their strengths and weaknesses, but at the end of the day, each class will, and can go far.
I think people really need to stop looking at the upper echelon of players, and rankings, it really has turned into World of Tiercraft for a lot of people. Their whole perception and gameplay solely based around what others say. It’s doing some damage lol
You can avg 1 mill DPS on Brew with big pulls but ST doesn’t really have a redeeming factor on it. Then again I do play the most unoptimal build 2h + Press).
I don’t see anyone ever getting near 1m DPS on any boss, let alone as a tank. At least not with non Mythic raiding gear.
Oh I mean on packs. Boss damage is crap.
Balance Druid is almost objectively worse than Feral this xpak (so far), perhaps except in large AoE in which it’s basically the strongest spec in the game. I can’t think of any other aspect in which Boomy does better though. Some - utterly abysmal (surviving in PvP - Hello? + clunky mechanics)
Ah gotcha. We’ve always had decent AoE at least, but against a boss… yeah no.
I haven’t gotten a Boomkin to max yet, but at around level 50 my gosh did it feel so painfully slow to play one. I feel like Starfall takes foreeeeever to cast.
SPriest wins easily imo.
