We are unhappy, but I wouldn’t say it’s “the worst spec/class”.
Rogue players have had to spend a majority of the last 4ish expansions adapting to an ever worsening state of our kit. At some point, you kinda just start rolling with the punches and angrily scream into the void hoping for things to get better.
Most of our issue is a litany of ridiculously unacceptable bugs, bad gear scaling (we fall off super hard DPS wise as we are now seeing with near-max ilvl gear logs), and button bloat. But, I still enjoy playing it, despite the faults.
Just wish Blizzard would actually do something positive for the class instead of nerfing or removing things from it every other patch.

Feral is fine. The smaller melee range hurts. But the slowing down of energy (while it’s not for everyone) is a better playstyle and is not so severe.
Gonna disagree with you there; feral was infinity better in dragonflight
rDruid is unfortunately awful with the lame hero talent doing better than the fun one, DH’s hero talents in general feel pretty bad with havoc being an absolute joke, and fury is about to be probably the worst class in the game in all types of content.
Imagine not playing mage so that one of your specs can always be S tier.
Rogue is the worst feeling to play by far, but I still have my guild trying to inject copium about how its middle of the pack, and it’s “good right now” and all this giga copium.
I’m just shaking my head laughing the whole time… I’m talking about the feeling to play the damn thing, not the numbers. Meanwhile they’re playing the easiest, most S tier things right now, aka Ele and FDK.
FDK rolls its face across the keyboard and does 2 million, same with Ele.
I press 10 things in the opener and nothing even happens. They have the Rogue class drinking thistle tea, literally, like we’re literally back in 2004. Still press Slice n Dice, 2004. Like whatttttt. If by “pristine class” they mean outdated af, then yeah.
I watched this video yesterday of this guy new to WoW who is visually impaired rating how fun each class was to level. He basically had everything in S tier and Rogue down in D tier lmao. He said the same thing, other classes you press 1 button and crap is dead, Rogue you press like 6 buttons and the mob’s health hasn’t even moved.

Because spec/class balance is just that bad sometimes, lol.
BM is/was my spec of choice, although I play all 3 at a competent level, got all the mage tower weapons, etc.
But BM got kneecapped since Dragonflight lol. Next patch they are giving it some buffs.
I mostly PvP, and they are just fodder- BM damage is slow ramp-up damage rather than bursty.
It seems every Hunter is playing MM because it’s easy and seemingly a bit overtuned lol.
I still wanted to use my pet and not be totally useless, so I opted to go Survival, I really do enjoy it. (Didn’t like MM’s hero talent either, wanted to be Pack Leader.)
BM is decent, but it’s still the worst of the three Hunter specs in PvP, imo.
Remember when BMs got Animal Companion? I wanted to quit druid and start a BM, it was the coolest thing I ever seen, even cooler if you had the right mount and pet combination. I think twice I have seen the sha of anger mount and the 2 matching pets…
what makes havoc so bad right now? other than we aren’t really meta. Aldrachi is meant to be ignored and felscarred is functional. Seems decent enough for me.
Havoc really has been the worst feeling for me so far. Forcing fel rush due to procs from immolation aura is annoying camera work and dizzy-making. First time playing it and I just don’t feel like using all of my abilities because they’re a chore to plan and react to.
I want to like feral, and some times I do, it was the only class I bothered to get the mage tower done on in legion, and I enjoyed it during DF. But it seems like Spriest blizz has a mandatory “rework feral” check box they need to hit.
Rogue. No matter how many times I play it I just can’t find a way to like it

As a matter of opinion? Probably The Entirety of Rogue. I whine about Priest a lot, but wouldn’t still be maining it if I didn’t enjoy it. Rogue just straight up feels like crap to play on every level.
Also the fact BTE can still brick Outlaw’s rotation is hysterical.

I’ll go with Augment Evoker as I have no interest and it looks boring to play… not sure how good it is though.
Feral feels really bad right now. And that’s all I’ve ever been on this toon.
I’ve been playing Guardian for open-world and delves, and I don’t tank.
