I completed every available Spreading the light objective in the area, and only 2 counted toward the 4 needed for the quest. The rare mob kills are counting fine, but there’s no more objectives and I’m still at 2/4

I did 4 of the Lesser Keyflames and none of them counted. I also didn’t get the usual toast upon entering the area that the quest could be completed. Tested both in War Mode and not.

yeah I completed every single repeatable quest in the area, lit all the keyflames, theres absolutely nothing else to do in the area

I’ve tried this on 4 alts today and everyone of them are not ‘counting’ the Spreading the Light 4/4!? Is this still bugged even in May 2025?
No problems last week.
I have an alt right now, my 4th, I have lit every ‘area’, flew out came back in, relogged, reloaded. It is NOT registering the Spreading the light but is registering the 4 rares I had to do. It will not register the STL event.
So it isn’t registering for Vault either.
You do not light the big bonfires for the World Quest. Instead you find the small little brazier that would say 0/4. Fill those and a npc runs out with a repeatable quest. You don’t need to do the quest, just light the braziers. Do four of those and you’re good to go.
With all due repect… duh. I know how to STL been doing it for…and it has worked! Til it was a Worldsoul this week! IT IS bugged!
You’d be surprised at the users who don’t know because they haven’t done it. You’re the one that said you lit the areas, it’s reasonable to assume that you meant the big bonfires that…light up the whole area.
Then why would they even be here responding on THIS post. Please.
Because it happens often with this particular quest. Sometimes the simplest answer is the user just didn’t know what they were supposed to do for a given task and the it wasn’t actually bugged at all. The type of binfire being light wasn’t specified, so always good to clarify.
I did this and Worldsoul quest didn’t register.
